Absolutely. Whether you realized it or not you were ABC there! The pizza was in a way making you "Always Be Closing." (Watch Glen Gary Glen Ross if you've never seen it and don't get the reference :P) It was your open, and the teasing etc just built attraction.

Love bars like that. There's one in Brooklyn where every beer you buy you get a personal pan pizza. Fairly sizable too.

As RedErin mentioned obliquely, having something unique -- such as pizza at a time when everyone else is hungry -- is a great way of calling attention to yourself, but don't you dare give that something away in exchange for some random girl's attention. That's every bit as bad as buying drinks for them.

P.S. For well-rounded game, you still need to learn how to approach.
