I don't know whether there are any resources for this, and so I'm going to try and create one. This is definitely an experiment, as I'm doing this at the same time as I'm writing it.
What your avatar is, is the PUA you create, the person that other people see. In a wider sense, it can be a character that you create that is part of you. What I mean by that is that this PUA personality is always within you, but sometimes it can be a potent tool to consciously ask yourself what THAT part of your personality would do now. If you're anything like me, and have absorbed 100's of hours of material, you will always have some kind of answer to each situation somewhere in your mind. Hence, asking your 'avatar' for guidance (which is really just a metaphor for accessing the pimp-part of yourself; as TD said in the Blueprint - we all have the manual for being a player in our minds...) can help you be more comfortable in certain situations and make decisions you might be too chickenshit to make. Not to sound pompous, but in a way, I view it as a way to make you rise above yourself. (not to say this is a magic pill; as said, I'm experimenting too)
Now, how do you create this avatar?
Here's my thoughts:
To begin with, get your external avatar straight. This consists of making first a mental picture of what your ideal PUA-self would look like; like a rock star, like a succesful businessman, like a modern-day casanova, whatever you want it to be! Next up, I'd take a look around r/malefashionadvice and r/mansformation, and maybe post a thread asking for advice on your body-type and the look you want. If you don't wanna do that, go shopping with a (female?) friend who has good fashion sense, and explain to them what you want. Create a basic outfit, and start adding pieces to it (to complete your avatar) later. I think it's fundamental that you feel COMFORTABLE in these clothes, since the whole joke of your avatar is that it makes you appear and feel comfortable and confident.
When you're done shopping, the next step is to create a mental image of how this PUA-self would act. I advise the following:
Take in mind one or several situations in the past where you felt insecure about the next step, or where you didn't know what to do, or maybe only realized it later. Now imagine your perfect PUA self going through these situations doing the right thing. This may help you get a clearer sense of what it should be like.
Next up, write an actual description of how you/your avatar will act, what attributes it exudes and how it/you acts/act. Do this by thinking about mindsets (reframing negative experiences as challenges and learning moments) and behaviors. How does your avatar talk? how does he feel when he's in the field? Identifying with this ideal self until it becomes engrained in you is a good way of getting familiarized with all this, and hopefully improving your results.
Next up, and this part is probably the most fun about all of this to me, body language. I highly encourage everyone to read one of the body language books by Joe Navarro. They are well written and really deliver interesting info on what looks confident and comfortable and what doesn't. For instance, I decided that a few hand-movements that are cool to adopt for me are making a pyramid with my fingers to underline a statement, as this hand-movement stands out (since it's hardly ever used) but is a strong symbol of confidence. Another tip is to more consciously have your avatar accentuate IOI's and IOD's with open/closed body language, since this makes you way more expressive. 'Watching' your avatar do this can give you a healthy distance from the process to experiment and finetune how you want your ideal pimp-self to be.
As Steve P said - 'Model someone who's extremely confident. Then pretend you're them. Then pretend you're not pretending anymore.'
Finally, go out and field-test this. I'm certainly planning to do this ASAP (sadly i already have plans tonight, otherwise I'd totally unleash this bitch on we the people immediately). If you don't like the whole Avatar-thing, drop it, and certainly tell me (in a constructive way) what was wrong with it. If you do, please tell me why it worked, and what you noticed was different about you.
Finally, how I've accessed my avatar in the past (even though I didn't call it that then) was to ask myself: What Would Wolf Do? Maybe some of you think this is new-age bullshit and a placebo, but it works for me, and maybe some of you think it's worth trying.
Either way, let me know what you think. As said, this is all an experiment, but there may just be gold here, kids ;)
TL;DR - Create perfect PUA-self to gain reference and guidance from; get this engrained more and more into your normal behaviors, until you don't even have to think about it anymore. Get laid.
PS - Feel free to expand upon any of the tips I gave above, too. This is all fairly basic, I guess. Looking forward to it all. Cheers! Edit: Tried posting this earlier, internet kinda crashed? well, here it is.
