1. While heading to the bus stop I noticed HB6 waiting for the bus. Couldn't think of anything to say so I simply asked her when the bus would arrive. From there I just made small talk: asked her if she went to college or worked...found out we had gone to the same high school and continued to chat about majors. Asked for her number but she told me to give her mine instead. The next day I actually received a text so we set up a date where I tried being mysterious and succeeded with a K close, some fooling around and a near F-close (at the park and didn't have a place to go).

  2. HB6 I had met at a party was flirting online so I decided to set up a date one day after school. We went to a park where we just talked for a while until I suggested we go to the mall. After a while of escalation she started talking about sex and how she wanted implants. I told her she was being silly and didn't need any so she asked me "how would you know anyway?" and kept arguing she needed it so I decided we change the pace again and head over to a little hidden park close to my house. We listened to music and somehow I got her to join me in the back seat where we continued the discussion on implants... Kclose and another near Fclose. She told me we should definitely get together again soon but days later when I called she didn't answer.

  3. While waiting for the trolley to head over to a friend's party I spot HB8 a few feet to the right looking at me from the corner of my eye. Again, can't come up with anything so I start out with the "know when the trolley gets here?" question. I compliment her on her lip piercing as a conversation opener then branched out to music and found out we had similar interests. I tell her a story about the last show and she's showing IOIs. Conversation went great until she got to her stop. Didn't get to #close but it was a good learning experience and a big step in ridding myself of approach anxiety.

  4. There was a power outage yesterday in the evening so I decided to go to the park. On my way there I saw HB9 sitting on the grass by an apartment complex. Went up to ask her if she knew anything about what was going on and asked if I could sit with her. We talked about music and school. I joked around with her a bit to ease any tension and even used some kino. She was waiting for her dad for an hour, so I offered to walk her home. Made her smile and laugh a few times and got to #close.
