Dance game is my salvation. It can be yours. But here’s why it works for me and maybe not you

1) I got into salsa dancing (and other ballroom dances) a few years back. After taking untold many classes, I’m a pretty good dancer now. I can do all types of isolations, body movements, spins, etc. I was a non sports playing uncoordinated geek all my life.

2) Don’t give a fuck attitude. I’m not trying to impress. I’m not actively gaming. I’m just enjoying the music and the atmosphere. (outcome independent: one girl commented "It's awesome that you are just enjoying the music")

3) I’m pretty good looking. Some is natural, a lot is shit I’ve worked on. Good haircut, dress better than most, great posture, and in shape.

Start dancing by myself. It's electronic music which I don’t know how to dance to but I just use my other dance moves and improvise. This shows individuality and personality.

Dance for like an hour. I’m waiting for alcohol to do its thing. No need to rush. I'm not bouncing around trying to 'hit' on girls.

Girls come in and out and hover around. I try to approach a few sets but nothing happens. 3 set start dancing near me (big IOI- girls choose their dance locations carefully; it’s not as arbitrary as it might appear). 2 girls have guys, one girl alone (HB7). They ask me to take a photo with them (they open me) and I oblige. I start teasing the lone wolf and having a mock dance off. She is totally into it. When I try to escalate but she pushes away my hands but stays engaged. All of a sudden they disappear. I don’t chase.

A 2 set appears a few minutes later (probably saw me having fun with the other chick) and I start dancing with them. No eye contact, nothing so I’m thinking they just are using me for social proof. No worries, I can do the same. I keep dancing in group fashion with them but start looking at other groups of girls with curiosity. A couple of these gestures and the one girl literally grabs me and pushes me into her friend. Boom, I’m grinding with HB9.

For a minute, I’m like, “holy shit this chick is hot. I better not fuck it up” and start freezing up but then I remember Tyler Blueprint and his talk on value and how distorted it is (a chick with pumps has more value than a surgeon whose saved hundreds of lives at a club), so I push through start moving my hands around. After a minute or two, I turn her towards me and go in with the kiss. Just like that, HB9 is mine.

Original girl that disappeared sees what’s happening and her group comes in and crashes our little love fest (literally bumped into me). Me and HB9 look at each other and I rotate around to give my back to them. This is hard to do because I liked the original girl too but HB9 was down and the other girl was not. I’m not going to bail. HB9 is eating this up. This is like fucking crack to her. She is now putting my hands on her crotch and I’m feeling her up. (probably as a territorial signal) All’s good.

PUA guy that randomly winged me to get rid of her friend (HB8), says he wants to go outside and my girl says she needs a break. I follow them out because I need to build comfort. At this point, I still haven’t said a single word yet. Outside we exchange names and chit chat. PUA guy starts dropping DHV (DJ this that- so cheesy) but the girls are eating it up. My girl is giving him IOIs and I’m just standing there but I don’t do anything. This is the key. I am unreactive. What’s he going to do steal my girl? If he does I’ll just take the other one which was also fucking hot. Be prepared to be silent. You don’t have to say much and come off a try hard. Attraction has already occurred.

I ask her what she did and she’s studying medicine and then starts showing me some of the stuff she is doing (qualifying). I do the, “woow, that’s impressive” bit to build comfort. What I don’t do is qualify myself. I could have said I work in medical devices (which I do) to trump her but I remember Tyler saying that as soon as you go logical (“I can do this for you; check out my cool job; look how much money I have”) you are going to lose. So, I bite my tongue and just keep talking about her.

Back to PUA guy, he finishes his DHV/Negs and I say, “hey, this is boring. Let’s go dance” and off we go to continue making out.That was it. She was not DTF cause they had to go out of state next morning and PUA douche was being pissy about not getting the SNL with her friend so he was being an ass.

She gave me her phone number, and we parted ways. That’s all folks. I’ll text her tomorrow to see what’s up.
