I can grasp and apply a lot of concepts that I've learned from the seduction communities. I'm good at flirting now, at identifying and cutting bad conversation topics, and at fixing in a little kino here and there. Kino, as well as other techniques such as push-pull, is something I am also working at. Something I can't quite understand is the 80/20 rule, though.

So apparently, you should be only slightly invested into an interaction... about 20%. The 80% comes from your target. On paper, it makes you come off as attractive. As someone who's experimented with low energy approaches, I will admit that being someone who is not heavily invested in an approach does make you that much more attractive.

In high energy environments, though, I can't understand applying the 80/20 rule. When you're the initiator and the founder of fun in the environment around you, where does the 20% come in? Sometimes, I just find it difficult enough to apply it into ordinary conversations. Leading and keeping an interaction in check while making sure you're target is hooked well into you is tough when you're only 20% involved. It's hard to build a strong connection with someone as well - for those who are not doing this entirely with seduction purposes - when you don't employ active listening, which is impossible with just your toes in the water.

I don't want to be this an "I agree" circlejerk, where people tell off the guys that are actually experienced with this. I know that the 80/20 does work... I'm just not sure how to apply it successfully. So successful 80/20'ers, ideas and tips?
