Followup to this FR from last night:

Arrived to bar fashionably late with some friends (girls/guys) to find my "date", buddy (AFC), and buddy's date all sitting in loft area above band, looking bored. Went up and got a cold vibe from my "date". She was dressed way down compared the first two nights even though she knew I was meeting up again. She wasn't dancing or energetic this time, which is all fine. But when I tried to get her up and about she wouldn't go; unnatural conversation, etc. I'm thinking maybe I had previously caught this girl on two especially drunk nights or something. Plus she gave me the "I'm getting up early" line when it wasn't warranted, which is a red flag. But this place was chocked full of HB8-HB10's, plus I had friends there, so I went down and enjoyed myself.

Cute girl #1 at the bar and I made eye contact twice, so third time I just said "Hi (laugh) how are you?" which made cute girl #2 turn to inquire. I replied "oh your friend and I are having a staring contest apparently so I wanted to say hi". Cute girl #2 followed with "I don't blame you", to which I replied "I know, she's cute." and then I just turned and ordered my drink and began a conversation with my group.

Ten minutes later cute #1 girl is standing right next to me, literally waiting to get my attention. I played all the obvious bullet points and it worked like a charm: Lightly question/comment all the obvious stuff like her looks. height, clothes, jewelry, trying to apply them to her culture (native american looking jewelry = "are you native american?", leather jacket = "are you tough or something? you look tough."), meanwhile granting myself permission to grab and tug and play with all her clothes and jewelry. At one point I just said "let me see your hand" and grabbed her hand and "examined it". She did the thing that most chicks do, which is neg themselves about her hands ("I have small hands!") and then asked me if I'm trying to read it, to which I laughed and just said "nope". So 10-15 minute conversation lead to "I'd better go tend my flock" and number close.

Then it got interesting. I go check on my "date", who is up and about, so we dance a little and talk but then she leaves and doesn't come back for a while. Whatever. I go about my business until last call and I go meet up with my friends. Cute girl #1 and #2 walk up, invite me to their afterparty, cute girl #1 gives me kissy face, and I k-closed (it happened in about 30 seconds so the girls in my group were fucking amazed; it was hilarious). I look up and my "date" happened to have conveniently been looking for me at that exact moment and is now pissed and heading toward the door.

Now, at this point I will admit a bit of panic and shock. Breaking hearts is not my strong point. Fuck. I didn't know what to say or do really, and I don't remember how I left it with cute girl #1, but I know I didn't have an address for an afterparty nor did I have a chance with date girl. I immediately checked my phone and, before the k-close, cute girl #1 had texted me 2 things:

a) "where did you go? I was ready" (I could have fucked her in the bar!)

b) "going to give you a Kiss nite".

Nice. So I hit her up for an afterparty address. She said she had to go home so no f-close for me, but she just texted me "hey there" this very second (it's now the following afternoon, present time) so I guess we'll see where it goes today!

But now I'm torn. My "date" is a pretty respectable lady and I'd like to keep her in the loop, if nothing else for her friends (my friends like her friends and I'm the alpha). I'm thinking I'll call her (I expect voicemail) and say something short and sweet like "well it's probably a good time to tell you that I'm dating multiple people right now, and I move faster than most guys, so if you're comfortable with that then you've got my number". I really do feel like I should say something, but then again she wasn't trying very hard to get my attention last night. I know that if our roles were reversed, she would have done the same thing and blamed it on me. And it was just a "meet up at a bar" date. Thoughts?
