I've been regularly dating a girl that most guys would consider to be an 8-10, and, as a result I've been spending a lot of time around a lot of high-value women. These are mid to late-twenties women from various backgrounds and countries who are all hot, well-educated, responsible, fun, witty, social, and by all accounts "attractive". They each have multiple guys pining over them on a regular basis, but only a few of these guys get past these women's basic defenses. It's been very interesting watching these interactions and hearing the girls discuss them later. I'll outline a few scenarios:

  • A successful, cool, handsome, nice-guy finds out that one of the girls is single and suddenly tries to move from friend status to lover status. Mistake 1: he made a big Hollywood-esque scene when the female started dating a mutual acquaintance at the same time as him. Mistake 2: He hasn't made a real move because he wants it to be "special"...she literally said that if he would have just "ravaged" her on the first or second date then they would probably be together. Mistake 3: He's generally too passive and "nice". Meanwhile, she's one-night-standing other guys, and she admits to just liking the attention.

  • One of the females is banging two guys. One of the guys plays by his own rules and won't commit, while the other guy is a normal dude who has just enough self-respect and confidence to keep her attention. She literally fakes sex with the normal guy because the "bad-boy" is always on her mind. Normal guy can tell that he's barely keeping her attention, so he confronts her and tells her he's bailing if she doesn't make up her mind about who she wants. She's with the nicer guy now, having great sex and a lot of fun. All the chicks admired the normal guy for putting his foot down. If she wasn't interested in an LTR though, the bad boy would have taken it.

  • One of the girls had a short-lived boyfriend who went along with everything she wanted. He always put his needs second and there were clearly some weird humor/communication issues going on. I could tell that he was frustrated, but in the end the girl always got her way and he never spoke his mind. She stopped being interested and they are no longer together.

  • In my time dating my girl, I've met dozens of her best friends and family members. I've embarrassed her in front of them. I've been mad a her in front of them. I've teased her in front of them. I've let other guys hit on her in front of them. But I've also stood up for her in front of them. I've shown affection in front of them. I've been fun, and witty, and sweet in front of them too. They know about all of our fights and intimate affairs, and they know that if I'm absent from the fun it's because I'm out living my own life. According to my girl, everyone that's important to her loves me. These are her words, not mine. She said that this never happens, and that I should keep it up. I interpret this as inner-game and confidence winning out.

  • These girls are all hot and fun, yet they are the most insecure bunch of people that I think I've ever met. Never assume when it comes to hot girls!

Cheers
