I went to a club Friday night with a buddy of mine. It was a loud, dubstep/house music type place and it was the first time I had been there. I usually go to clubs with more hip-hop music so the dancing/style was pretty new for me.

Now I consider myself pretty well versed in the theory aspect of most of this seduction stuff, but sadly I'm not as experienced in the field as I should be, as I learned that night.

My buddy went and opened two girls sitting by the wall on the dance floor and beckoned me over. I came up to the three of them and lightly touched the girl that wasn't my friend's target on the shoulder as I introduced myself. This is where the night goes to shit.

As soon as I touched her, she whips around, jumps back, and loudly shouts "Don't touch me, I don't know you!!" Now in retrospect, I realize that this girl was likely just really immature (the place had a lot of 17-18 year old high schoolers as it was '18 and up') but at the time, it destroyed me. Tried to salvage it, but in the end it blew us out. Had never had a girl react like that to me before, and combine that with the fact that it was a totally new type of club/music/dancing to me and you get me having a shitty state for the rest of the night (Became a wallflower, couldn't get into the music or dancing, was awkward with every other girl I tried to talk to).

Now I know what I did wrong so this is just a quick tip: Don't let anything or anyone ruin your frame/state. Just because one person reacts or judges you, guess what, there are 7 billion other people on the planet, so they don't matter. You're there to have fun and to amuse yourself, not anyone else.
