I've been hit with a lot of these recently, and I've been messing around trying to get the best responses. The two common ones I get are "are you gay?" And "is she your girlfriend?"

I've tried going with agree and amplify, but I've found it is a VERY fine line (going over the top with "Honey, I am SO gay" either works really well (it has worked extremely well for me with a wing who plays along) or very poorly (moreso without one of my wings). Last night, I was talking to a chick whom we had mutual acquantances (her boss is a good buddy of mine), and she asked me if I was gay, so I went indirect and wouldn't give her a straight (lol, that's a pun) answer. Eventually, she called my boss to find out because it was driving her crazy; I took that as an IOI, but not sure if it was too much push.

I generally go out with my wing, an HB9, and we spend a lot of timee together talking to people, playing beer pong, etc, and a lot of women (and men) will ask me "hey, is she your girlfriend." I haven't found a good response, but I've used "absolutely not", which is really bad, and I've just shrugged it off with a "nah, she's my close friend", which is straightforward but not a lot of room to play. She's like a sister to me, and she considers me her brother (she calls me "bro" a lot when we are out), so I might go with, "nah, she's my sister! Can't you see the resemblence?" (She's asian, I'm white). Not sure if anyone else has similar situations, but I'd like to compile a list of these iois that are also shit tests.
