So I've been reading here for quite a while, but have pretty much been putting off putting any of it into place because of AA. Anyway Friday night I'm having a night out with the boys. There are 9 of us to start off with and we have some dinner, then hit up a pretty manly pub and do manly things like pool, darts, and arm wrestling. Come about half 12 and we head out to the clubs.

I have a few drinks and assess the talent on offer, and then go outside for a cigarette with 2 of the other boys. I Immediately open a set with a HB 6 and her friends HB 7 and HB 3 with just a simple introduction. Hit it off really well with HB6 as it turns out me and her know a couple of the same people, and end up having a few drinks and cigarettes while HB 7 and 3 are chatting to my boys. I tease her a bit about being from a small hick town, and escalated kino (arm, hand, lower back). She's loving it, and when HB 3 and HB 7 decide they want to leave, she tells them that she's going to stay out a bit longer.

I see this as the perfect time to change location, so I suggest a place down the road that plays 80s music and has some good shots. We get there and we order shots, I tell her that I believe strongly in womens rights, and that while I'll get the next round, I don't want to take away her independence as a woman by buying her these drinks. She laughs and play hits me, then I go in for the K close. No dramas.

Have a few dances and a few more shots, and then we go outside for a cigarette, she mentions that she just lives down the road and I ask how long it'll take US to walk there, and she says only about 5 minutes. She goes to the bathroom while I finish my cigarette, and we agree to leave when she gets back. Now this is the part where I got greedy and got seriously punished for it.

While she was in the bathroom, I got a call from an HB 8.5 who I met a couple of weeks ago, and I had been out of town the last couple of weekends but she had been texting me at like 4am each night on the weekend, so I of course assume that she's DTF. She tells me that her friends have left her, and that she's in another club and asks what I'm up to. I decide to take a gamble and go and meet the HB 8.5, so when HB 6 returns I make my excuse that my mate got arrested and I have to go and help out, and that I'll give her a call later on. She buys it, I kiss her, then leave.

Go to other club and meet HB8.5, we hook up and then after about 10 minutes we leave, get some food, and then she asks if she can stay at mine. I agree (of course) and we go back to my place. As soon as we get there though something's pretty much immediately wrong, she stops wanting to hook up, and then when I try to kiss her again, she says that she thinks we can be friends. Inside I'm like WTF?!? And tell her that I have plenty of friends, and that I don't want to just be her platonic friend. She says "so you want to be my boyfriend? we've only met once before" and I tell her I don't want to be her boyfriend, but I don't want to just be platonic friends either. She tells me I'm being a douche and that she doesn't know where I got the idea that we were going to be more than just mates from, then tells me that she's going to sleep and turns over. At this point I'm fuming on the inside, not because she wouldn't put out, but because she's basically fucking with my head. I tell her that I obviously got the wrong idea, and that she can leave. She tells me that it's ok, and that I didn't need to feel bad and she didn't mind staying till the morning. I tell her that she has to leave and then she flips out. Tells me that she lives about a half an hour cab ride away, and how the hell was she supposed to get home at this time? I tell her it's not my problem and shut the door in her face. Basically I figure she played me for a place to stay.

Anyway I learned a lot, and it gave me a lot of confidence for the future! I feel a bit douchey about ditching HB6 for what seemed like a better offer, but you live and you learn. Sorry about the grammar too! Anyway, any feedback would be much appreciated!
