I spent a few years running indirect openers, asking girl's who lies more, and negging the shit out of poor cuties. My success was pretty terrible. After ditching that style and focusing on a mix of Paul Janka, Simple Pickup, and my own epiphanies in the field, I found a KILLER framework. It sounds cliche, but my success rate increased about 1000% pretty much overnight. Some premises:

  • This method is based on the premise that just about every single girl is waiting for that one special, unique, confident guy to pick her out of the crowd and sweep her off her feet.

  • In order to fulfill her fantasy of meeting the perfect guy, you need to look the part. You don't have to be Brad Pitt, but looking well groomed is definitely going to help.

  • Lastly, you MUST go into this framework with a new paradigm of rejection. Your new goal is to become completely and UTTERLY comfortable with getting rejected. Every time you go up to a hottie, do it with the intention of really feeling and becoming ok with rejection. This is a numbers game, in large part.

On to the framework:

  1. The love-struck open. You want to open the girl as if you've just seen the girl of your dreams. My favorite way to do this is walking past a girl on the sidewalk (usually during the day): make eye contact a few seconds before passing her. As she passes you, stop a few seconds, turn around, and chase her down. Once you catch up to her, get her to stop. Make sure you project your voice: "Excuse me, you are absolutely adorable/cute."

  2. Statement of vulnerability. "I'm about to have a heart attack, but I HAD to come introduce myself and see what you were like." This helps dispel her suspicion that you're a total player that does this with every girl.

  3. Introduce yourself. "I'm mileshigh_23."

  4. Establish physical contact. Shake her hand. "Nice to meet you :D"

  5. Banter. "How's your day going?" She'll start telling you.

  6. Banter some more. Something will almost always pop into your head. You can bring up and talk about basically anything.

  7. Gauge buying temperature. You have to use your intuition on this (aka: notice her IOIs). If she seems to be diggin' you, go for the number close. Also, I've had a fair amount of girls seem not that interested at first, but still number closed and led to dates and f-closes. The key here is that YOU are the one deciding whether you WANT to go for the number close.

  8. Qualification and number close. "You seem like a really cool girl. We should hang out some time. What's your number?" As you're saying this, pull out your phone in front of her. You can also just ask her: "How can we make that happen?"

  9. After the number close, follow it up with a text within a short period of time: "Get home safe- mileshigh_23." You want to put your name at the end so she can get you in her phone.

  10. The next day, or two days after. Text #1: "You. Me. Tea. 7:30. Si?" Txt #2: "Text 1 for "OMG YESSS!" or 2 for "ABSOLUTELTY!!" YOU DO NOT WANT TO WASTE A TON OF TIME IN TEXT GAME. I always loved flirting via text, but I'm telling you, it's a black hole.

Edit: also note, interractions with the above framework usually range from 45 seconds to 3 minutes. A lot of guys on here will say, "A number close in less than 3 minutes?! You haven't even built any rapport!" I say, the longer you're in set, the more likely you are to fuck it up.
