I was reading "The Definitive Book of Body Language" (fantastic book btw) and learned that woman have much better peripheral vision than men where as men have better vision for distance and moving objects. This "tunnel vision" is why men get caught ogling at a woman's breasts or butt all the time, but rarely to woman get caught doing the same even though they check out guys just the same.

Anyway, here's how the routine works. You could do this anytime, but it's probably best used when you're both sitting comfortably in a place where you might be trying to instigate a make out. Tell the girl you're with that you heard somewhere that a woman has much better peripheral vision than a man and that you wanna test it out. Tell her to look straight at you. You also will look straight at her (into her eyes). You then place your index finger at some arbitrary space in the middle of your faces, pointing sideways. You then move your hand up until you can't see it anymore and ask her if she can still see it. She should be able to still see it clearly. Next bring your hand all the way down until it's out of your sight from the bottom of your vision and ask again. She should still be able to see it clearly even though you can't. You should be creating attraction at this point by flicking your gaze from her eyes to her lips. Bring your finger up to her chin and lead her into the kiss.

This is good because it's interesting, it's a good excuse for the two of you to gaze into each others' eyes, and it's a seemingly innocent way to engage a kiss.

You can probably skip the first part where you move your finger up and just do the second part where you move it down.
