I'll give the FR first then give a couple tips for those who want it.

A couple days ago it started raining pretty hard at my school. No one was ready for it. It turned from sunshine to the school flooding in about 2 hours. Naturally, people crowded inside, many looking out at the weather and debating whether or not they should make a run for their cars.

I was looking out from the building I was in at the garage where I parked when I saw a cute Filipina girl a few feet to the left of me looking at the garage too. I turn to her and tell her "you ready?" she laughs and says "I don't know" I tell her "come on let's go" and open the door for us.

We're outside and we're getting drenched. I joke and tell her at least it's not hot anymore. She's still a little shy so I just keep talking. There's a little dip ahead so that turned into a mini river. I jump over and see her looking at it like it's going to suck her into the abyss, I reach my arms out and say "jump, I'll catch you". She laughs, tells me that I better not drop her, and jumps. I catch her and get her across. I make a joke about lifting her and using her as a rain shield. She laughs and says "your tall that might just work" and she got on the other side of me and walked really close using me to block the rain. I tell her if we're gonna walk this close we should lock arms. I hold out my elbow in a gentlemanly fashion and she puts her hand through.

We get to the garage and I ask her where she's parked. My car was closer so I told her to walk with me and I'll give her a ride to her car. Well that happens and when we get to her car I ask for her number she hesitates, says she hardly knows me. I tell her that if she wants to get to know me better then she should give me her number. Then I tell her to hurry up because we're blocking traffic in the garage. She says alright, gives me her number. I tell her "I'll call you the next time it rains so we can have another rainy date." When I drive out of the garage I see the roads flooded and I text her "drive safe -serious_fun". She texts back "I will :)" We've been texting since and this morning she sends me "I really hope I don't have to wait til it rains again to see you".

Alright so breakdown. First, don't let approach anxiety win. This girl and I would've both walked alone getting soaked if I hadn't said something, but instead because I took action, it became a good experience for both of us.

Next, your first statement doesn't have to be direct. Be fun, playful. Don't think to yourself "oh no what do I have to say next to get laid" just have fun. You always win if you have fun.

Don't be afraid to lead. I opened the door for us and was confident she'd follow. Leading the interaction with a girl is very important and I've noticed my success skyrocket once I started doing this. If she is actively leading, that's fine but if not, you should be. This isn't just physical, this is important for conversational and emotional too. She was very shy at first and I had to do almost all the talking. It's not that she's not interested, just shy.

Remember to kino. I could've let her jump by herself or just walk close to me but didn't. Kino is great for building comfort, testing for compliance, and setting yourself apart from all the guys that she just talks to. Something I've done that I use for kino is that I'll be talking to a girl and push her then pull her back and say "saved your life from falling into the (street, pool, volcano)" and I've noticed after that, the girl will always stand closer to me and initiate kino with me.

Finally, close. Always try and at least ask for a number. Worst she can do is say no, and trust me that's much better than regretting not asking for it.
