I sit by a cute girl in my lecture hall class, have since the start of the semester. Last week she decided to sit down next to me instead of in her usual spot, which was open at the time. I made with the friendly, didn't think anything of it. She continues to sit next to me each time we have the class. Each day I talk to her for a bit, never too much, never letting it get awkward and only going silent when the class actually begins. Yesterday, at the end of class I decided to ask her for her number. I worded it exactly like this, "Hey, can I get you're number so I have someone to talk to about the labs and quizzes?" She said sure, gave me her number, told me to send her a text with my name and said she would see me next class.

So Seddit, I have no idea if I should progress from here or even how I would progress. It's been a while since I've had a successful interaction with a female once I've gotten the number. Four unsuccessful attempts since my last girlfriend, well... technically three because the lesbian I hit on has actually become a friend of sorts. Yet from here, I don't know what to do. I'm thinking the only thing I can do would be to be patient, since the class is only twice a week, and read the situation in class and see if there is anything I can do, or maybe a moment when I can ask her to get lunch or a coffee.

What are you're thoughts?

TL;DR Got a girls number by asking for it in context of having someone to talk to about the tests and quizzes in the class, not sure how to (or if I should) proceed.

EDIT: One thing I've made sure to do every time I talk with her is to keep eye contact. She has a very gorgeous pair of green eyes, if I do say so myself.
