Out solo, managed to snag a seat at a pretty busy bar. Didn't realize that the seat next to me was also open, and a pair of girls (7/8) quickly come up next to me. One says, "Is this seat taken?" My response: "No, but you'll have to pay rent." "How much is rent?" "You have to buy me a drink."

Got a laugh, she complied, and all worked out well.
