I too enjoy fashion and some times I can see why people might mistake me for being gay during a first impression. I personally find it funny, and rather than get mad and try and shut the other people up I simply join them in their festivities. I usually handle the situation differently depending on the crowd. But one thing that I always do is play along and exaggerate it. If it's a girl I'll say "well there's only one way to find out right?" or simply say that I really am gay and then game the shit out of the girls in the club. At the end of the day it doesn't matter, when other people see you making out or leaving with some chick they will know that you are not gay.

Sometimes guys think I am straight. When they do, I just remember that there's nothing wrong with being straight, and make exaggerated claims about how not-gay I am.

Another option that works for me is, with a wink, to say, "There's only one way to find out."

Here is something that helped me get over people throwing insults at me. Instead of viewing it as a NEG, or instead of viewing it as someone insulting you, imaging it as someone ENGAGING you.

In other words, if a girl passed by me and I overhear them laughing like "haha that guy looks gay", I used to view it like they are trying to put me down or they are being assholes.

Rather than doing that, however, you can view it as the girls ENGAGING you. In this light, its almost as if they are interested in you so much that they decided to comment on your status. Take it and run with it

Not sure where I read this, but someone once said that if he was asked if he was gay, he would just say "If I was, could I touch your boobs?" or something like that.

Most of the time I'm just like "Yeah, I'm tooooootally gay." And over exaggerate it. (I also sometimes like to bring it up myself)

How do you, honestly, feel about people who are homosexual? Does it even hurt you (personally, not only your game) if you where asked, if you are gay? Maybe thats something you need to take a look at.

I would think about it like this: is you "seeming gay" hurting your chances with the ladies? Or is it just some guys are being douchebags? Because if your game is rock solid, then it shouldn't matter! But, if something is going wrong and the women you approach etc aren't biting because they think your gay, then maybe there is a way to fix this. Tell us more details.

I am also not gay, but if a girl asks me if I am gay or whatever, I usually tell them yeah I am. I just agree to whatever people are calling me. But after that, I try to kino that girl.
Or even sometimes, if I try to open a girl and she says she is a lesbian, which is usually not true, I tell them I can't hit on them, because I am gay. But I still proceed to hit on them.

First off, people thinking your gay may allow you to sneak under the radar in ways that straight looking guys can't.

More importantly, how much do you enjoy fashion? I don't give a rats ass about designers, high end fabrics, or extra high quality clothes (reasonable quality is fine). I don't care to be dapper, but I can tell you that I enjoy looking good and knowing that women think that I look good. I dress with the purpose to look attractive and cool. If I was dressing in a way that made everyone think I was gay, I would have supremely failed in the fashion department. So, if you're wearing stuff that MFA would high five you for, and it feels decadent, but doesn't do anything for the ladies, is it really worth it, at the end of the day?

What's wrong w being gay? Even if you're not gay... It shouldn't bother you man besides dudes that are homophobic are usually gay them self. I fingerbangged some girls and afterwards they say I thought you were gay like me... The first time I said "I'm not gay" and they losses interest so i quickly said does it make a difference? Cuz if so.. I am tottaly gay! But of course by then they are buttoning up. So if your are playing the gay card play it cool. And stay away from homophobic people. At least until you can carry your self as a man's man. that's hella gay right.

Many people will say just have fun with it. I agree to be playful and to never get mad. However one of my very solid rules is that you will only be treated in ways you allow yourself to be treated. If you are sick of this then do not allow yourself to be treated in this way.

Dress manlier dude. If you're a gymnast you should be pretty fit. There's ways to dress so that people think that you're fashionable and masculine.
