So last night I was working on this girl (not sure if friend zoned or not, but going to assume attraction at this point). Long story short, as we were heading out on the dance floor, she held my hand basically dragging me to the dance floor, then she stops turns around and says:

Her: "Hey, you want to find a girl tonight, right?!" Me: "Yeah, of course!" Her: "Well, then let's go find you a girl!"

Then we just went out on the dance floor, I failed to escalate but that's a different story.

So I feel like this was definitely a shit test which I failed (though not horribly). What would be the best response in this kind of situation? I feel like I have had this happen to me before, so I'd like to be prepared for next time.
