It is odd, but not because it's objectively weird, but because most people just don't do it. Odd or not, if you see a girl go by you just have to accept that in order to take your shot you're going to have to do something out of the norm.

Also, think about it this way. What's more odd, a guy seeing a girl he's attracted to and being honest with his feelings and meeting her, or a guy who sees a girl, but cowers in crippling fear and anxiety and won't do it because he's ashamed what others will think about what he's doing.

Leave your house.

Talk to random strangers.

Make sure that some of them are female. Start with older people. They have great stories to tell; the older they are, the more they've lived.

Find younger people. Sprinkle in a few cute women. Tell them some of the interesting stories you've heard. See how they respond.

The purpose is to change your goal from "pick up chicks during the day" to "meet interesting people, some of whom are young and female".

Or, spend your time pursuing real interests where there are women involved rather than aimlessly wandering the streets searching for girls. Once time is gone, you never get it back -- that's one thing you learn once you've spoken to a few of those more life-experienced types who've done a fair bit of living and wouldn't mind telling you a thing or two.

What is creepy about a guy finding a woman attractive and wanting to talk to her? If guys never acted on their attraction, that wouldn't do anyone any good.

Daygame's unique. It's really what brought me to the seduction community. It's probably the one thing 95% of guys will never learn to do well.

...It's 'wierd' because nobody does it because nobody has the balls to outside of the pickup community.

Daygame is only "odd" if you see PUA as some sort of predatory thing where you try to go "pick up" women. Every conversation you have, no matter at a club, or at a coffee shop, or anywhere, should be relaxed, normal, and easy, like you were talking to an old friend. Every conversation with a girl should be like a regular conversation, and if she shows interest (which she will if you are confident, relaxed and not a creep) you can escalate.

If you have a lot of anxiety about approaching women, it's usually hard to incorporate it into your daily routine, or you'll start making excuses (See a pretty girl at the coffee shop but she's on her phone, or you get scared and then tell yourself she wasn't that pretty anyways, that sort of thing).

For that reason, going out with the express intention of getting experience in meeting women is good. It prevents you from making those excuses. Once you have more experience you no longer need to do this, but even at that point there's nothing wrong with it. It's only weird if you feel like it's weird.

Telling girls jokes and trying to act cool so that you can both eventually put merge genitalia and fuck until white goo shoots out of this awkward fusion of skin and tissue in between your legs is fucking hilarious to me in all contexts, if you're not laughing at this whole seduction thing you're taking it way to seriously. Fucking is funny as fuck, look at it for a second as if you were an asexual, you would be rolling on the floor. I'm reading a book on the evolution of sex, all the concepts of seduction were there, language just obligated men to be equipped with wit. It's actually very primitive at its core.

Dude there are TONS of guys that go out and meet women during the day.

So there are literally thousands of guys who are finding new sexual partners and having an amazing time, and even more women they are sleeping with who are also having a fantastic time. So much fun and sex going on, everyone is having a blast and loving life.

And then there is YOU, some guy sitting at home alone on the internet worrying if all this fun and sex is "creepy" or "odd".

Day gamer reporting in.

I've daygamed for a while now, on and off for I'd say a total of 3 solid months. Basically this is what you need to know about daygame, it is a numbers game. There is no doubt at all that it'll seem odd to everyone once they start doing it. But after you get over that inital anixety and just start doing approaches you develop your social and conversational skills with women. You also develop core confidence because you honestly give no fucks to just walk up to a random girl that you find attractive and start talking with no anxiety in your gut at all; you're completely relaxed and at ease.

The thing about daygame is that most of the time you won't get laid from it, you may never get laid. You'll get a bunch of numbers for sure and maybe a date depending on how often you do it, your level of game, and how lucky you are.

That's the downside of daygame but the upside is that no matter what you will be gaining core cofidence from it. Most guys don't have to balls to approach a random girl they see in public. If you go out tomorrow and approach 10 girls I garantuee that after like the 5th girl it'll all be so generic for you, you won't even feel any anxiety, it'll be just a normal experience. Eventually that feeling will manifest and you'll have that for the rest of your life wherever you go when you're trying to talk to women (granted that you're social each day and don't just sit at home all the time). But yeah that's something that you can always take away from daygame which is why it's a good tool to use if confidence is your main issue. But as I said before the success rate is not very high, unfortunately.

I never specifically go out to try and approach women but I won't let an opportunity pass me if I'm out and about and spot a women I like the look of or an opportunity arises.

Day game does run the risk of being creepy. Try to use indirect openers to lower the creepiness factor.
