Is it bad to talk to a girl for the first time on Facebook if she's interested?

When you message her, act like you're meeting her at a bookstore or club...start with your opener , if it turns into a chat session give a time restraint...then after youve established a good convo with her , proceed in telling her you'd like to continue the convo but you gotta go...shoot her your number and let her msg you...that way when she does you know she's interested and can proceed to take her out....

Just how I would do it....good luck.

Honestly, I'd figure out a way to ask her in person. You could always try on facebook, but that feels incredibly passive and weak to me. You could also get unlucky with her not being around to get your message, or her going offline as you ask for the number and losing the thread. In person, you have the benefit of it being an INCREDIBLY warm approach, and being able to definitively number close and set up a day 2 right away.

Don't call her number that's on facebook. Just message her, keep it casual and maybe set something up over facebook and then get the number. If she's already shown interest using facebook will not hurt you.

On facebook - Hit her up. Ask about classes and stuff. Tell her that we should hang out. No dont make it a date yet.Hear me out before you guys downvote me coz he is not making his intentions clear.

When you hang, project your intentions(usual stuff:check sidebar if you are new) and take her on a real date.

The reason why i recommend this is because Facebook is not face to face. you wanna hit on her in person.You either see her on campus and hit on her or ask her to meet you for a coffee or a snack to catch up on life. Not the bet approach but I think you get the point.
