MODELS by Manson everything else is not worth your time.

Conquer your Campus was my go to book for 2 years. Its an easy read and is a great entry level book.

You could also try models, the game and meditations (although the latter is a hard read.)

Mystery Method, the BEST book out there about game. Literally taught me most of what I know, and I still apply those skills to my all around life.

It's a little "Out Dated" in a sense but everything in there is the basics, the advanced, and the pro material. It seems like everyone else has evolved from him, so I recommend it. buy it, read it, and apply it. it applies to daygame as well, so beware that he repeatedly acts towards night game

People here will scream that Models is the greatest pickup book out but don't make that the only book you read. While I took a lot away from it, I also got a lot, if not more, from a handful of other books. You need to be open to considering lots of different material, as they usually all offer value.

How to be a 3% Man by Corey Wayne offers life-changing advice on the dating process and relationships. I modified it a bit to suit my demographic and I can't be more satisfied with the book.

The Manual by W. Anton revolutionized the way I viewed masculinity and femininity. This book warped by brain and made me finally understand how attraction worked between the sexes. 10/10, must read. I also wrote a 10-page paper on gender roles for my college sociology class, using this book as the foundation for almost every point I made. I received a 100% on it.

A Thousand Tiny Failures by Tony D. inspired me to move across the country to simply experience life and immerse myself in pickup and self-improvement. Lots of great field scenarios, lessons, and witty comments in this one.

There are basically 3 "Schools of Seduction" that I know of -

The "Methodical" school, which is centered around using canned stories, tactics, and techniques to manipulate the perception of your target and her social group in your favor. The most well known proponents of this type of game are Mystery & Co. (Mystery Method), the Love Systems Group (bunch of ex-MM students who formed their own company), and a few other PUAs who started teaching this style of pickup.
The "Inner Game" school, which basically says that you should drop the behaviours and routines, stop trying to "manipulate" and control everything via tactics you learned over the net, and instead use social intuition, the power of your internal beliefs, honesty, and congruency to attract women. Foremost of this would be Mark Manson(writer of Models), and to a lesser extent RSD (Real Social Dynamics). Manson is more purist regarding intentions over technique, while RSD has more of a mix of the 1st school mentioned.
The "Pyschoseduction" school, which basically uses a bunch of techniques to embed hypnotic suggestions into the target's subconscious to manipulate her into wanting to sleep with you - foremost of which is Ross Jeffries of "Speed Seduction" fame.

You can choose one, although people generally go for either the 1st or 2nd. the 3rd has been known to be somewhat unethical.

Proponents of the 1st school, the "Methodical School"

are very well adapted to any situation since they study and practice having a tactic, a line, or a technique for anything.
have the belief system of "I have to make the girl and her group love me before I can show sexual interest" and "I have to say and do the right thing at the right time, all the time".
sometimes tend to "lose their game" once they encounter a situation for which they haven't prepared for
may become "social robots" because they are so immersed in technicalities, lines, and techniques that they forget to be normal human beings. To these people, everything is a matter of knowing the right thing to say/do, and when to execute it

Proponents of the 2nd school, the "Inner Game School"

focus almost solely with your internal beliefs. If you feel that you are a champ and don't need external approval, you always win even when you lose.
have the belief system that as long as you are coming from the right place, you will be a naturally attractive man. You don't need any gimmicks, lines or techniques in the same way that that a lion doesn't need to study how to roar.
say that majority of sexual interaction is fueled by the subcommunication over the content of the conversation. It's about the glint in your eye, the smile on your lips, the vibe you put out more than the words you say.
It's not about the line you say, but how you say it. You can basically say anything you want because women supposedly sense your masculinity and your internal fortitude, and will be drawn to it.
have a belief system more or less consistent with "I am just going to talk to people in whatever way I feel like, have as much fun as I can, and see what comes of it. If the girl doesn't like it, she wasn't for me anyway."
may not always have the right things to say or do, but will always come from the right place

Proponents of the 3rd school, the "Psychoseduction School"

focus on embedding suggestions and beliefs into the target's brain through innocuous statements and stories
don't necessarily have the social tactics and verbal of the 1st school, or the strong internal belief system of the 2nd.
try to willfully induce sexual attraction without making the target aware of the hypnosis.

More or less that's what you'll find here in this reddit and the general PUA community. Try to understand that most of the advice you will read over the net almost always come from these 3 loosely categorized, but different schools of thought, and these all go about trying to achieve the result in different manners.

It's up to you what you choose to learn or apply, a lot of people try to take things from all schools, but your success with each may vary. What gets results for one person doesn't necessarily work for another.

This is such a great question! If only there was an extensive list of these books somewhere like, I don't know, the side bar? One can only dream I guess.

Sorry about the sarcasm. I guess I'll contribute to the conversation by suggesting you read 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.
