Just wondering about your experiences/ opinions of the appropriate time in an interaction to introduce yourself to someone, particularly to the woman you have already engaged conversation with- wherever it may be -be it in a public place or etc. Obviously the environment will have much to do with it, but I am asking mainly about typical interaction in a "normal" setting. In past meetings, did you tell them your name immediately after approaching them? Did you talk about other things beforehand? Did you offer a handshake or any other kind of greeting method along with your name? Have you given this much thought or do you let it just happen naturally 'off the cuff' depending on them? I have had the occasion to introduce myself immediately, and even to forget introducing myself altogether (both have worked to advantage).

Okay?
