At the risk of proposing a weird suggestion...the laundromat. Since moving out of home a few months ago and doing my laundry at laundromats, I've been pleasantly surprised at how many cute girls in my neighborhood I encounter there. I've engaged in idle chit chat with them, but its definitely a setting I would like to try daygame at once I get comfortable enough.

Don't write off bars. I meet girls at bars, but I rarely drink.

But to answer your question, daygame is your best bet. You can meet girls literally anywhere.

If "no alcohol" is your excuse for clubs and bars, then it's no excuse. Nobody will force you to drink, glasses of water are always available at the bar for free.

However, I realize it's a very hectic, chaotic, overwhelming environment so I understand if you want to skip it. Don't write it off though. Not shying away from a challenge is the best habit you can form.

Try signing up for an intramural sport in your town if you have that. Volleyball tends to have a good gender ratio...But you should pick something that you'll actually enjoy.

Daygame (malls, restaurants, cafes, street game etc.), Social game (events including mixers, speeddating, parties, themed events), internet game, etc.

The "no alcohol thing" is irrelevant, since you don't have to drink alcohol to go to bars. Get some bar food, water, soda, whatever.

Just don't reply with excuses and self limiting beliefs. Think of what you CAN do and go do it.

Dancing clubs (where you learn to dance), sport clubs, chess clubs, math groups, ... Oh my god there are hundret of places where you can meet them... I met a girl on the floor of my dorm, just started to talk to her ("hey, are you new in this area?") and it worked perfectly!

I've always had great experience with casual sports teams. You get to meet some pretty down to earth girls who just so happen to be fit! :D
