Do you remember anything else about her? I am TERRIBLE at rendering names. I've forgotten a girls name right when the first date starts. What has worked is I just say "look I'm terrible at names... I've forgotten yours but I remember you like Oreo flavored ice cream, you just got back from a trip to cabo where you wind surfed for the first time..... Blah blah bla"

If you can rattle off a bunch of stuff you do remember is shows you do care to get to know her but your a good when it comes to names.

I've never had a girl get pissed with that tactic. Oh trust me she will give you shit and rib you for it but that means she likes you.

Just got home. We made out for a bit. She texted me already so I'm guessing we'll hang out again. I'm thinking about asking her if she had any nicknames growing up. Hopefully her nickname will remind me of her real name. Or maybe I'll just wait till I f-close one day and then during the cuddling part after I'll be like "hey, so I have no idea what your name is, what is it". I'm joking about the second part but the nickname idea I might try. It might backfire though.

Good job. You could try tricking her into telling you. Ask her "Actually how do you spell your name?". Just have to hope she doesn't have a really simple name like Kate.
