Picking up girls every day?!

I just meet women throughout my day. I honestly couldn't even tell you how many random girls I talk to in a week. It fluctuates a lot but I would say I go on an average of two coffee dates a week. Just strike up conversations about whatever you want and you'll do fine.

I personally prefer going out with the intention of picking up women. I give myself a quota and I meet it i.e. get 10 numbers to play with and then you can go home. I would then get a few dates from those numbers.

Most guys get mind fucked by this type but it's highly effective in getting more results. However, now that my time is limited due to career reasons, I'm finding myself simply picking up girls as I go throughout the day simply because of time.

If I had more time, I would just be traveling for the sole purpose of picking up girls. Ahhh I sometimes just not worry about career and pick up girls all day all week that would be the life. Right now I have to go by with measly few girls every few days only.

The RSD guys also live in Los Angeles and there are tons of women everywhere.

GJLuke said it best, going about your life and talking to women as you go about it is the way to do it.

When I was teaching + doing this I would get about 50 numbers a week.

If they are pickup coaches out to make money, obviously that's going to be their message because they want you to be as "bought-in" to their ideology as they can, almost like being in a cult.

At least their getting you to take massive action though.

I used to do pickup a ton.

I realized it's a very misguided mindset to have.

Rather than going out to approach women, now I mainly focus on living an awesome life and living a life that I am proud of.

And I talk to women as I go about my life naturally.

Having an agenda to go pick up women makes you needy as fuck.

I have been watching a lot of videos from RSD and TNL and a lot of the coaches seem to be insistent that pickup is something that one should practice every day, not just on one particular day of the week or time of the year.

Your sample is biased. This is an arbitrary mark to meet. Also, you SHOULD have a life outside of pick-up. The reasonable "PUAs" like David Wygant, James Marshall, Mark Manson, etc., all say that focusing on pick-up too much, can lead to an imbalanced life.

However, one thing you could be doing that's helpful, is simply be social with people/strangers, whenever you go out. You might not need to be going around looking for girls to talk to, but if you're going out in public, it doesn't harm you to interact with the people around you. Smile and make eye contact with people. Share your thoughts if you see something random or funny. It doesn't have to be intense and it can keep you warmed up so that talking to a girl you spot who's interesting, isn't suddenly this herculean task out of nowhere.
