Tldr: Treat pickup like a game.

I've been doing pickup for 4 years now, and something I've noticed is that pickup is more about self improvement than finding the one. Pickup is about being able to push boundaries and break social norms. It is about pushing yourself to become a better person, simply for the sake of improving results. From grooming to fashion to exercise, pickup is an all encompassing effort.

I went into pickup thinking I could land a girlfriend this way. And while I have had a few girlfriends in the past, the majority of my pickup simply hasn't led to that. Instead I've been on a path of growth and self improvement. Pickup has encouraged that lifestyle.

Looking at myself now I am proud of how far I have come. I used to be small and weak, a real nice guy. Now I am bold and progressive, always looking for the next challenge.

A girl recently broke up with me and for the first time I handled it correctly. I moved on immediately and dashed any hopes of getting back together.

I don't take pickup seriously any more. It really is just a game, one that is fun, exciting, and entertaining. With this mindset I have been able to do better with pickup, and my game has improved significantly.

Lesson learned: Don't take pickup seriously, go out there and have fun. Embrace the process of self improvement.
