Fuck with his head:

"If you like her, go talk to her..." and he'll make an excuse. Then you go and talk to her. Keep doing that all night until he finially thinks "fuck, i can do this shit too" and starts actually approaching too.

Well if he says "he goes for the music" but keeps drooling at the girls he is nor really there for the music.

The thing is girls are really good at sensing who is there for the fun and who is there to creep on them. When i go to techno parties, i like to dance directly in front of the dj booth even if there is a sausage party there. But i know, soon there will be lots of cute girls around because my positive energy will pull them.

Here is an opportunity for you to learn from him as well as him leaning from you.

What he will be able to learn from you is pick up as well as give you honest feedback on what you may be doing ineffective.

What you can learn from him is his sticking points. He can remind you what not to do. You can study his body language, tonality, eye contact, his lack of touching, conversation skills, etc.

Belive it or not, your friend may not be into pick up but there can be at least one good thing that you can learn from him besides his sticking points.

He might be good at keeping things fun, making good eye contact, having multiple conversational topics, being fully present.

Your friend can serve as social proof and can be better then picking up alone. It's a great way for you and him to pump each other up.

Here is the thing though, if he is not making any effort to actually talk to girls or even has a desire to practice pick up, just take him with you, let him do his own thing (jerking off at a corner) while you kill it in the club.

You won't be able to help him if he can't help himself first. Avoid giving him advice if he is not looking for it.

Your best bet is to lead by example. Most (if not all) men would love a chance to interact with those gorgeous girls you see from across the room and instantly start to fantasize about. But most guys simply don't have the balls to talk to these women unless they're incredibly inebriated or being egged on by their friends.

So your friend spots a gorgeous girl and makes a comment about her? Great, now you've got reason and motivation to go talk to that girl. I guarantee your friend will be in awe and you will feel like a boss. Leverage that feeling, encourage him to try approaching with you and see how it goes. At the end of the day, just have fun. Thats the most important thing.

Either ditch him or rope him into approaching.

Everyone wants to be the guy who at least has the courage to try, he will thank you for it if you can give him the push to get started.

I'd prefer to go to a club by myself than with one person like that, unless you think it'll be fine to leave him to his own devices while you go off and talk to people.
