Dude. Chill. She's just not into you and the more you'll try, the more you'll dig yourself into this hole. One of the benefits of approaching a lot is that you don't get hang ups over rejections anymore because everyone gets rejected from time to time and it's okay. Just keep approaching and don't overthink it. Also if you don't like online dating, don't fucking do it. If you do it, then stop fucking complaining about it.

Sounds to me like both of you do not enjoy the conversation but none of you wants to be the one to cut it off. Be the one. If you do not enjoy talking to someone, do not continue to talk to them. Life is short. I guess you could just ghost; However, I, personally, would say something along the lines of 'Hey, I don't really see this going anywhere, so thank you for your time, goodbye, have a good one.' Doesn't sound bitter, is polite and gets rid of her. Tada, next one.

Judging by your messages you are not commanding enough. Why are you chatting a week or two to just get her number?? I get the number in 2-5 messages and then schedule a meet even faster. Don't chat with her over the app/text. You are then just a virtual entity she uses for validation, why would she date you if you validate her over chat? She also didn't think you were sex-worthy because you didn't come off as such. Which is why she brushed you off. Next her and move on.

The key thing with online dating:

Don't get hurt when things fall flat. Don't get too much of oneitis. You should be excited to meet someone. Don't get tied up in feeling bad if they don't feel the same way.
It's a lot of work and a bit of a numbers game.

Online Dating

Give a well thought out message.
If they respond, give another well thought out message ending in "lets grab a drink"
If they say "OK", ask for number to make plans.

Texting:

TLDR: Focus on Setting up a date and not as a form of communication

When texting avoid it as much as possible. Keep it short, light and fun. "How did you do in the snowstorm? I'm currently in an igloo made out of pillows with netflix and beer to keep me company"
After 2-3 messages, make a plan. You have to take the initiative to make them. "OK, as planned, what does your X day or Y day next week look like" (always give two options)
They will say "X will work for me" or "Those dont work for me, how about Z" <-- the "how about" is important for establishing interest. She wants to see you if she tries an alternate date.
suggest 2 places/activities. (bar, bowling, billards, minigolf, hike, etc)
avoid conversation via texting unless its something very relevant to them "I saw this random thing that made me think of you"
Day of confirm with them the date for that night along the lines of "You getting excited for tonight?"
Sarge as normal on date.

Once you get their number, going from online to offline works about 9/10 times.

You should not be texting back and forth so much. Within 4-5 lines from both sides, you ask a girl to meet for drinks. Don't waste time with pointless banter. Every message you send should have some kind of flirty undertone, followed with a text about meeting up.

You took way too long to get her number. And the fact you asked her how she 'felt' to go on a date with you ruined your chances even more, you should have just straight up asked. Next time, don't have meaningless conversation for so long.

I can see why she thinks going on a date is "iffy," if you're going to instantly place the blame at her feet instead of being able to peaceably move on. Neither of you sounded really interested or invested if you were talking for two weeks solid. At any rate, you sound quite pushy from your texting habits, I'm not sure anybody would enjoy that quality in a potential partner.
