Personally I feel like tinder is not a good platform of approaching. I use it occasionally when I am not able to approach anyway, like in class, public transport or whatever.

I get a decent amount of matches. As we all know texting is a terrible way of getting to know each other. So I usually text some light hearted funny/flirty messages 3/4 times and (if she responds off course) and if she is receptive of my advances I go in and set up a date because why not? It has been already established we are attracted to each other.

Ive had beautiful girls tell me that they are interested but wanted to get to know me first through texting. I'm not completely sure how to handle this response. I have no idea how to convey my personality through text in a way she would be interested in going on a date. I currently have a match that is interested in going for a coffee date. Her literal response to my coffee date offer:

"I cannot refuse a good coffee" "But we'll talk and see"

What are your takes on this situation? How do I get that date going? I can keep the conversation flowing for a couple of days tops. After that the tension is just gone.
