So there's a girl I've been seeing for a few weeks. And last night I went to make a move on our 4th time hanging out, she seemed very laid back and comfortable with me. This was outside of her townhouse, she stopped me from kissing her and said "I was raped before". She literally got out of my car and went inside. I honestly laughed to myself once she left, not at the fact that she was raped but I didn't even know what to say to that because of how out of left field it was. I am seeing other people as well, this is just a red flag to me? I didn't want to stop her from getting out of my car and I was too surprised to even say anything to try and save the mood. Next/red flag/proceed with caution, how do you handle something like this.

While we are on the subject, why do some girls bring it up or flip out if that word is used? I play a lot of online games and a few weeks ago someone said "you just got raped" and one of the female players in chat said they had a panic attack because of the word being used. Is that just begging for attention or is there a legitimate way that can happen?
