Is this field tested or just theory? I've seen infield of PUA's saying they're shy when it's obvious to the girl they're not.

I was going to make a post on this sort of approach and ask how to actually allow myself to look weak in front of others when I've built up this self image of a cool, calm and collected individual who doesn't get phased or show emotions, which isn't really true. Any tips?

This is great for new people. So she makes you nervous? Can't find the right words? Cool, just say so. It'll be fine, you can even be kind of beta towards her when you say it (girls don't mind when you get a little insecure around them as long as they like you and you eventually grow comfortable around her).

Yes and this is the thing, if she likes you.

A girl who is interested in you will be slightly shy herself.

You cant be speaking from experience, since that is simply not the case with all women.

If you're hitting it off with a girl tell her that she's really pretty and it's making you kind of shy. It will give her a confidence boost.

That might work with teenage girls, or shy girls that are not used to get hit on, but in most cases this will make her only feel good about herself with making you look like a beta that is trying to to talk her into bed.

Imagine an attractive girl started acting kind of dumb around you and just confessed you're really cute and you make her nervous. What do you think would happen to your self-esteem? Your feelings of being a man? Would it even make you hornier?

Yes it would make me feel good, but it depends on how attractive she is to me, to make me horny.

Being wanted is a HUGE turn on when it comes from someone we are interested in.

You have a point here, but you are mixing up things, which only gives me the interpretation that you have no experience at all with reality. For example: there is a girl you want to bang, she thinks you are a wuss. Now imagine you tell her how much you want her, what do you think will happen? She will smile and think "i like being wanted, and this flatters me, but he is so creepy"

And trust me, hardly ANY guys are willing to do this. We're all trying to act too tough to notice if we don't that we can get closer to women.

There is a reason we do that, since women want a confident, strong man, and only if you can display that behaviour, be it by looks (muscle) or behaviour (being confident like you own the fucking world) you can get away with being nervous or like you say "beta male" behaviour in small amounts, since women see it as being vulnerable. But if you overdo it, you are fucked, and not in a good way.

The thing is that this is no magic bullet. You still have to overcome your fear somewhat but it will explain to her why you suck at it. You can't just sit there not talking, or try to be the life of the party either. All it really is is a great way to be honest and emotionally intimate with a girl very quickly. You still have to try.

Like i say, you are mixing up things here, women want a man. not a boy. Try it out rather than putting out this theoretical bullshit and you will see how many times you will be blown out for being a weak creep. In the right context though, and this is where your "theory" is lacking, this is called being vulnerable, but only if you do this well dosed.

For instance: a female friend of mine is married to a very sensitive guy, and she has kids with him. We haven't seen each other for a while, and in the last half year we start partying together, without him... i was aware he could get jealous, and he now is. Now they have drama, since he is acting like he was the woman, telling her that he is insecure about her going out with me and all that... (i spare you the details) she tells me that she is fed up with that, since she does not want a weak little kid at home but a strong man. I could give even more examples where that behavior you talked about broke relationships, and all because the guys started to be too vulnerable thus not desirable, no matter how often he tells her how desirable she was.

TL;DR: This is highly theoretical and mixed together, in reality this rarely works.
