Considering I'm in my room... I'd be a little confused and ask her who she is, how she got through 2 locked doors and most importantly why she's in my room, while reaching for my phone in case I need to dial 911.

If she's cool, though, i'd invite her to not watch a movie thats playing on my TV while im browsing subreddits full of self help click bait.

The smart and theoretical side of me says do the only thing you can do: approach and introduce yourself/run your game (be it direct or indirect).

I would probably end up complementing her on something not based on her looks (maybe her outfit or something she discussed) and then give her my number and take off after a few minutes and appear to have something to do.

The realistic side of me: Probably chicken out.

Soon enough I'll be on the smart and theoretical level.

Irrelevant. Almost wildly so. This stuff isn't the competition some guys seem to think it is.

The girl is a participant, not an object that is unilaterally acted upon. If she's into it, she'll do half of the work and it'll seem like it's too easy or like someone turned God Mode on or something.

She'll have had guys marked out as attractive, the second she walked into the room. But you don't have a reliable way to know if you're on that list until you interact with her.

The problem is, too many people take themselves out of the running with their poor assumptions. Assuming she MUST have a boyfriend or that you can't get out of your basement or whatever hangup you have.

If you believe she won't be up for it, the sad thing is, you'll convince her regardless of whether or not she was initially attracted to you.

.....but you want her.

Do you? Look, let's be real here. Even the hottest girl you could find, might be great externally, but a shitty person, boring in bed, a bore to talk to, etc.

You don't know a damn thing beyond, "she looks good." You are selling yourself short by giving a "hot girl" a pass based on appearance.

There's no call to put so much importance on her. Go see what's up. But you can't know if she's worth it until then.

What do you do?

You've said nothing of where this is. A room where? School? Prison? Avenger's HQ?

But off-hand, saying, "Hi," is a great way to gauge the initial chemistry.

From there, there are a number of easy peasy situationally specific things you could talk about or use. But this scenario is so broad that recommending what to do next would be like dropping several branches of a Choose Your Own Adventure book.
