I've been trying to figure out why I don't have much long-term success with women and I think it's because I just don't know how to have fun. The first couple dates go well, but then after that things always fade out and there's usually a mutual lack of interest.

Given that this always happens it has to be something wrong with me, and I think it's that I just don't know how to have fun. My days typically consist of 2-3 hours of MMA training, 1 hour of weight training, 1 hour of driving, so that takes up my entire day on weekdays. On weekends I sleep in a lot to help recover from training, catch up on laundry, and when I do just relax I usually just listen to an audio book or listen to music. My close friends are all MMA guys too, so we really don't go out and do stuff, aside from MMA or go out to a bar and chat.

So what exactly do people do when they're in a relationship? When the date consists of us in a coffee shop or bar having drinks or eating things go great, but after doing that for several dates I don't know what else to do. My friend suggested I take a date to the mall, 4th date, and I did, but I was extremely bored and I'm sure she could tell and then like after like 2 hours she claimed she wasn't feeling well and had to leave lol, though she was a bit of a tomboy and she did say she hates malls and hates shopping so it's not much of a surprise.

I've also tried bowling, mini golf, roller skating, indoor climbing. The indoor climbing was actually kinda fun, but the woman I went with was more of a barbie type and not athletic. And the bowling and mini golf were boring. Volleyball can be fun and even girls who aren't athletic usually enjoy it, but it's winter and the sports parks are all closed.

I've been with lots of women but never had a long term relationship or been in love with a woman (I'm 30), even though I would like to find one I really like to be with long term. Do I need to work on developing some other interests, or are long term relationships supposed to consist mostly of conversation, food, drinks, and sex? No that I don't enjoy those things, but it just gets monotonous and predicable pretty quick.
