How do you get over your wife if you see her each week to pickup your kid?

For me it's mindset. I know I'm (much) better off without her, and much happier now. I don't give a fuck about her personal life, except as it affects our kid. I'm focused on my future, great ladies I know now and will meet later, and getting myself in good shape physically and mentally.

Indifference. Practice indifference. You should not worry about things that you cannot control. Also, learning to let things go as easily as you accepted them, is another lesson that helped me quite often.

Mine picks up the kids with her new baby daddy. Doesn't phase me in the slightest anymore. Work on yourself and you will forget this person you put your whole life into. Read books like no more mr nice guy and the rational male. Find hobbies and passions to bring happiness into your life. If depressed, take anti depressants. With time you will find another person who is a thousand times better and forget all about her. But do not go looking for that until you have fixed yourself first.

Think of all the lies and betrayal. Why pine over someone who doesn't want to be with you? Would you continue to show up to a job that laid you off? See things for what they are and not what they "ought to be". People break vows all the time. It's human nature. Use that pain, hurt etc to create a "better" (doesn't have to be monetary) life for both you and your kids.
