Push it through and get her to send it. She's thinking about going back to amend the agreement which will not work in your favor. I pushed mine through when she began to stall.

In AZ, for "divorced with children", the state has free mediation, and requires it too. So the couple can decide on anything they can, so the judge won't have to decide.

Sounds great.

Except in my mediation, the mediator and my exwife railroaded me into giving up almost everything. "Only a horrible person would take away children from their loving mother." The mediator ACTUALLY SAID THAT! The two of them had me second guessing everything. About me being a good dad and the kids and my finances. It was horrible. They would get me to agree to something in exchange for her agreeing to something and then in the mediation agreement, it only had the agreements I made, nothing she said she'd do.

But a strange twinge of fate happened. As we left her office, me being broken down and defeated. The notary went home 15 minutes prior. The mediator handed us each a copy and said, "Get it notarized and submit to the court."

I got a breath of fresh air, and took that mediation agreement and I tossed it in the trash. I told my exwife, "See you at trial!" And at trial, she lost big time.

TLDR version? If she wont' sign, force her to go to trial.

Had mediation two days ago

Came to agreement but waiting for official document to sign

My attorney said best to sign that day so still in the waiting game

Super disappointing and not uncommon. Abusing you and the system to run you through the wringer. Can't really do much except push it to trial or a little reverse psychology - as the more you push the more she'll resist. Try playing it cool with a big solid "meh" for a few weeks - i mean it's been 7 months, what's another few to avoid the cost of trial. Worst case she doesn't want the divorce.

It's hard to tell. If she's irrational, unreasonable or too entitled that you don't really think she'll be reasonable in mediation and youre comfortable with the trial outcome then cut it short and request a trial date instead of begging for settling. It's a big question though and ultimately will depend on how each of you perceives the expected outcome in trial.
