Hello, I recently started to hang with my coworker (23F), which I see only once every two weeks at work. We usually chat and talk bullshit during lunch breaks. Recently she had birthday and I offered to bring her my gift (bag of sweets and wine) to her place (never met her outside of work). We ended up talking and talking shit for fun at her place from 8PM to 8AM. Nothing romantic happened between us, minimal physical touch ( friendly tapping while talking shit). Day after that I texted her thanks for last night, and she said she is down to hang out outside work more often.
I met her again this thurday, i brought sushi and wine to her place again. We again were just talking, playing card games, with more physical touching, but not romantically. This time felt more personal tho, as we talked more about our personal lives, interests, we complimented eatchother looks couple of times. Came at 8PM and left at 3AM as she had a flight that morning.
She texted me the next day thanking for the sushi and time spent togheter. Usually when she texts she is joking a lot and sending multiple messages.
So with this context in mind, I'm thinking to ask her out to cinema on upcoming valentine day, in order to show her that I like her more than she probably thinks, as I'm not great at elevating the atmosphere. Do you think it's a good idea, or keep playing it safe?
