Sorry about the ramble that's about to happen, but didn't know who else to talk to.

Today was the day. I finally beat my ass into gear and made my first ever cold approach. Today has taken nearly 6 months to get to. I've been working on my image, as well as confidence and self worth, and I finally went up to a girl and made direct intent outside of the bar. It was absolutely terrifying, but invigorating as well. Ive been telling myself for months that "today will be the day" and just could never do it, but I decided I'd do a 30 day challenge and today was day one, and I finally did it.

I did kind of screw it up though, as I didn't close with anything, I just went up and introduced myself and told her I thought she was cute, then pretty much told her to have a nice day because I started freaking out, but hopefully next time I can get a little further.

Either way though, I'm just really happy and proud of myself for doing this and even though it was just one approach, I learner so much from it, the biggest being: she doesn't hate you for just going up there. For some reason I thought she would hate me just because I went up and talked to her but hey she was pretty cool about it.

Anyway sorry for the wall of text and overhyping but I'm just really happy.

EDIT* Thanks for all you supportive and inspiring comments! You really all show how great this subreddit is!
