Most times, unless you're dealing with a hooker, or quick escalation on the dance floor while drunk, you're going to have SOME time to cover the bases before sex comes up.

Since you're a newb, I'm just going to say it. This scenario involves the kind of quick escalation that you're unlikely to be doing at this point. And girls usually don't open with sex on the table "right way."

Also, there's a concept called ASD which basically means that girls usually WON'T talk about sex directly in the early going, before they have had it with you. They'll want deniability about wanting sex, so they're unlikely to open with it "on the table."

Trick is to volunteer information about yourself with regard to what you want to know.

Like you might say, "I get tested regularly," or something like that. Find a way to segue to it. Maybe a story about a friend inspired you. Could be bullshit, just find an excuse to segue to it. Then she'll comment. Probably offer what she is doing about that sort of thing.
