Why would you message her on OKC after she blocked you on IG? It's not like her hand slipped and she accidentally blocked you. That was a bitch move and you know it.

Maybe she got bored/cold feet, maybe someone more exciting came along, who knows? My suggestions: get her number sooner. In my experience, if she isn't willing to give out a permanent form of communication then she probably would've flaked anyway. Also, make definite plans. Not "around 8", but "8". It's fine if you don't text her the details right away, but I wouldn't have left it until the day before the date. I would've figured out a place and texted her the next day.

Who knows? Not a big deal. Unlikely you did anything in the conversation to warrant a block. Maybe she got back with her ex, maybe she found something she didn't like on your social media, maybe she just wanted attention, blah blah. Maybe she wasn't really interested, but sucks at communicating rejection or has had really bad experiences rejecting guys, especially online. This stuff is like 70% the girl and 30% you. Maybe 60-40. The bulk of rejection has very little to do with what you did or didn't do, and has more to do with timing, where the girl is, what she's looking for, her maturity, etc. I mean, you certainly have influence in the interaction, but attraction is very primal and has more to do with the intangibles than it does with how you ask a question or what techniques you use -- that's why online dating is such a challenge.

In any case, in general, if you ask a girl out you should have a plan in mind at that time. Waiting to give details means they can't commit and the more vague/fuzzy the details are, the more likely they are to change their mind quickly (especially with online dating where comfort level and a commitment is pretty much the sole determinant of whether you two meet up). Waiting on logistics also makes it seem like you're hesitant, inexperienced, lack confidence, and so on...even if that's not true. I wouldn't say that's the reason she blocked you (seems a bit extreme), but it is something I would do differently if I were you.

Once you've somewhat established her schedule/availability, a simple "Let's do Friday at 8pm at xyz" or "I'll be at xyz on Friday at 8. Join me." is the way to go. You should have those details ready almost immediately; that's why it's often easier to use the second approach where she's welcome to join you in your existing plans. If she's busy and interested, she'll suggest a different arrangement or let you know when she's more available.

Anywho, carry on. Based on the convo, nothing you did to warrant a block. That's just odd behavior and seems immature, so I'd say you dodged a bullet with this one anyway.

is there a chance you slept with one of her friends a while back? cant be her getting back w/ an ex, because if that was the case she would have deactivated her OKC profile. also, my advice, don't ask so many questions when you are texting. tell her, let's do friday night at 8. if she hesitates or protests, then ask her what her schedule looks like. too many questions will make you look timid.
