What works for me is going to an area that has multiple things to walk to. Bar, ice cream, coffee. Pick any order youd like!

It hasn't been said yet but if you have good logistics, just invite her over to your place. I've had first dates where she came to my place on the first date. She'd get a quick tour where I was still getting ready. We'd go to a nearby bar and come back to my place after. If they come over to your place at any point in the date even in the beginning, she's essentially signalling to you that she's DTF.
