How do you guys transition from dating to friendship with a girl?

I could never just be friends with women. The ones I went on dates with that I thought were cool and wanted friendship with, it never worked out.

Why didn't it work out?

At what points does it usually fail?
And for what reasons?

How do you guys go about it?

It's about managing expectations and understanding yourself, really. Or the mindsets you choose to adopt about these things. Sometimes people don't get along, that is true. But if you're having a 100% failure rate of being friends with all the women you've ever dated, then there might be an issue with the way you're doing things.

But I will say that it really IS kind of valuable to have good friendships with women. "Seduction" is basically a form of socializing and socializing is easier when you understand the person you're interacting with.

Having a friendship with a woman you're not after for sex, grants you insights into their thought processes and feelings that you would not otherwise have.

Information is power. And having friendships with different kinds of people, women included, just enriches your life.

It's never really worked for me either and not something I'm worried about. Some people only get along as romantic partners and can't be friends, vice versa.
