Hey guys so i was texting this girl for a few days and i was trying to set up a date so the thing she never responded after that kind of ghosted me am i being too straight forward or too early for setting a date?I am not particularly upset about this just wanted to learn what am i doing wrong !!

She’s not interested. She hasn’t asked you a single question and she gave you a maybe. She’s put no effort into continuing the conversation and only given you static answers

I don’t have enough information about how the conversation was flowing before but it seems she’s not really interested. She’s replying maybe just because she’s polite and those sentences lead to kill the conversation. I bet that if you wait those 10 days, she won’t contact you, at all. Maybe I’m wrong, at least that’s what I think from previous experiences.

You aren't being assertive enough. Instead of asking her what she is doing, you should say

"Lets get together this Saturday. I know a great coffee/drinks/whatever place. I'll just cruise by and pick you up at 8 yah? :)"

Then if she tells you she's busy, she'll suggest an alternative if she's really interested.

I don’t have enough context for the messages or the dynamic between you two, but as a woman who works 60-80 hours a week,it seems there could be a potential 50/50 split, she could be exhausted and just not in a people talking mood. However even when I’m not in a people mood I’ll suggest an alternative if I really want to get to know someone, (I’m not free for ten days but reach out to me again on Wednesday and we can plan something out), as far as your concern on how to approach, I don’t recommend going with the more assertive approach, “let me pick you up on Saturday and take you out”, maybe some women like that phrasing but it takes out the conversational ability to say “no” on our side, I’d say a better rule of thumb is to change your reactions not your approach, your approach was direct and clear, you wanted to take her out on Saturday, she gave you a softer maybe with no follow up, chalk that up as a no then, sometimes there’s not really a problem with you not being attractive or them not seeing it or whatever, some people just aren’t interested; it by no means meant that you did anything wrong

Low interest. Avoid messaging for 3-4 days. Then send a funny pic and see how she responds. Build up the heat and avoid conversations which are not funny and not about her till she invests in you.

And dude, dont send more than one reply. It shows desperation. Build up the James Bond attitude.

I need more context. Have you been out together before? Where/how did you meet?

For me I rarely ask women what their availability is because IMO it's a poor way to measure their buying intent. I likely would have said, "Hey chick, I know this great coffee shot in X location, let's grab one tomorrow morning". If she says she has to work then you can reply with "Coffee's not just for the morning, I'm pretty sure they have caffeine free ice cold water if later in the day works best for you"

If she doesn't respond or still says she's busy I'd take a hard pass for the moment. IMO women who are interested counter with alternatives not excuses or one liners about being busy. For example, to the first question she could have said weekends are better and to the second question she could have done some shitty emoji followed by how about Weds after work, I get off at 7.

Even if she doesn't respond you can still do a ping text later. A favorite of mine for women who claim to be extra busy is to send a picture of food, a cocktail, somewhere fun...and say it's the best cure I know of for a hard week. If still no reply next her. If she does reply chances are it will be to show some interest

The one thing that I hate (and I feel others hate as well) is the rapid fire texting. For goodness sake just send one response with the information back. Not three incomplete sentences.

To respond to your question; you didn’t do anything wrong yet it seems. I have no clue how you got her number but she is cooling on you. I agree with most others in leave her alone and build up your girl numbers and hit her back in like 5-6 days with something random/witty/funny and see how she responds.

Asking what are you doing this weekend sounds a little deceptive. Because you haven't told her the reasoning for you asking. Therefore if she says no, then she has inadvertently committed to hanging out with you. It's like you're digging a hole when you ask her that question.

And when she says she is busy, instead of saying oh damn, it would be well with you to say something simple and Suave like okay. Chalk it up as this is not a good weekend. Not as she doesn't want to hang out with you.

She respects you enough to give you responses, I wouldn't flush this woman down the toilet yet.

Sounds like she isn't interested. Typically if she wanted to hang she'd have asked if you were free or suggested a good day. She's literally only replying with facts so you don't get pissed off.
