I think that not looking needy is the most important thing with women, also self confidence.. I believe that hardest thing is to do approach, show interest but at the same time not losing leverage.

I rather object to the notion that good opens are "hitting on women". To me, "hitting on women" means fairly aggressively requesting sex, or some kind of physical intimacy. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but there's a lot of negative connotations with "hitting on women". I prefer the frame of "opening women" with a standard model of complimenting and talking at and with them, with a goal of giving them joy. Maybe very little, maybe lots over time, but ideally, every woman we open views it in the end as a positive interaction for her, even if she turned her head instantly away and made an ugly face! I try to follow that (and any) rejection type with a final very polite and calm "hey you have a fantastic day!" or maybe a final compliment of some type, "your hair is awesome by the way!". And hopefully, later they perhaps feel good about it rather than "that horrible creep who told me I looking nice". That's my frame and what I try to create for her, regardless. So I don't see that I"m "hitting on women". I'm trying to give them a little joy...and some options!

As for rejections, the best thing about rejections is (a) you are trying and (b) the more you try, the more you are likely to stumble into successes, particularly if you are LEARNING and ADAPTING along the way. "The field will tell you all you need to know."

In my nutrition lecture a few months ago i started talking to this girl who, long story short, ghosted me on what was supposed to be our 2nd date.

A week after that i started talking to another girl in the same exact lecture and ended up getting her snap. Although nothing happened w/ the second girl (yet?), whenever we end up sitting together and talking hella, i can see the first girl giving me the death glare. She's super jelly

The best way you can win after a rejection is not to keep ogling over that one girl. Move on from her and she may just end up wanting you when she realizes she isn't as special as she thought and that YOU'RE the prize.

That's not true. Some girls decide they don't like your face/vibe and chose to view it as an awkward/creepy interaction no matter what you do. That being said, that shouldn't stop you from approaching, working on your social skills, "vibe" and all that. The better you are and the more comfortable you are with yourself, the LESS likely these things happen. Less likely, but not guaranteed. That's part of the whole risk/reward thing...
