College is one of the easiest places to build status. Even if you were a loner in high school you can be swimming in good friends and women by the end of your first semester. This guide will be focused on attracting women, but it can also be a guide for a fun snd fulfilling college life.
The first step should be to meet people early, get snapchats, instas, numbers, etc... Go around your whole dorm and introduce yourself to everyone, guy, girl, hot, ugly, foreign, EVERYONE. Talk to your classmates, study with them, get lunch after class with them. MEET AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN, GET YOUR FACE KNOWN ON CAMPUS.
Now that you know some people in the first week, you’re in a good place, but that can only get you so far, now its time to make a name for yourself.
The best method to gain some base status is to either play a sport or join a fraternity. Even at a D3 school, the sports teams and fraternities are often the highest status groups on campus. A large chunk of college women only go for these guys, mostly because they hang out with them the most.
Lets get into the specifics of HOW and WHY these groups offer status.
They provide a base foundation of a social circle. You have a team/brotherhood of 30-60 guys, meaning you already have a lot of friends...meaning more to do and more people to connect with from each brother’s individual social circles. You have guys who respect you meaning your status will increase thus making women more likely to respect you.
They do things...that simple. In high school you may have hung out with your few guy friends and played video games, a very low status life, if you did play sports you had a bit higher status which will carry over a bit more in college. For example, your team won a game, the whole campus is talking about your team, women are talking about your team, YOU are on that team, you are a winner, women are attracted to winners. Frats often times do community work and throw fun ass charity events that have a similar effect that get people talking about them and raising their status.
PARTIES. No matter what school you go to, the ones throwing the parties are either male sports teams or frats. If you’re a guy and not part of either, chances are you’re not going to get into many parties, especially at smaller schools. Girls get into any parties, so while your unathletic/geed ass is sitting in the dorm with the other losers, the sport and frat guys are grinding on chicks at the parties they’re throwing. At a bigger school this isn’t so much of an issue since there are more parties per capita, but heres a little but of anecdotal evidence: My school is small (6000 students) there might be 3-4 house parties each night, 2 sport parties, 2 frat parties. I am part of one of the fraternities and play rugby, and at both parties we would always turn down guys who weren’t a part of us, meanwhile droves of girls would come constantly. Verdict, throwing parties means access to girls and high status.
There are many more benefits, but this is already turning into a walk of text but you get the gist of it.
Now it should be said that being a part of a team/frat only gives you a BASE foundation of status. The rest is up to who you are as a person (How you treat people, confidence, etc...) Just be a good guy and you’re on your way to be a king on campus.
A few other things you can do is get involved in clubs that are prevalent. Go to your RA’s programs. Go to campus events. Be a good and helpful classmate. Overall be a genuine guy, do good for the community, and above all, GET KNOWN AND MAKE FRIENDS.
Onto how you yourself can build your status above the base that your group provides.
1) Be a familiar face to people. Be the one that people say “ Hey its that guy who does X” Make sure that variable is a good thing. At first it will be whatever sport or frat you are in which is fine, but its even better if you’re known for specific good things.
2) Hang out with multiple groups/cliques. Have friends in every scene. Don’t be that guys whose only friends are his team. You like metal, find the metal scene and go to concerts with them. You like anime, find the weebs. Create an individual social circle, more connections means more women to approach. More people know you as a fun guy to hang out with means a higher status.
3) Be a LEGEND at parties. Don’t be lost in the crowd with an empty beer in your hand, do cool shit and get people to take videos and pictures. Be the life of the party. Learn dance moves, shotgun a beer in one second, be unstoppable at pong. Parties are the place where you’ll see the most girls in one place, they’re gonna be attracted to the coolest guys at the party, so be one of them.
4) Do good for the community. Super bowl riot? Clean up cans after. College hosting a volunteer day, join it. Walk at Relay for Life. Do a charity fundraiser with your boys (Hint:Shirtless carwash) Be respectable during non-party hours. Don’t bring your weekend bender into everybody elses monday. This will help you get known, and more importantly for good things. Like I mentioned earlier “Hey its that guy who does X” can become “Hey its that guy who organized the whole carwash” “He’s also a beast at pong, lets go say hi”
Now you are a king on campus. Everybody knows you. Your team is going to the playoffs. Your frat is throwing a huge end of the year banger. You got hot girls hitting up your snapchat to hang out. You have some amazing boys who got your back and you’re having the time of your life. College done right.
