Not the right answer. You screwed up with 'what if we go as friends', because now you're begging for her time and attention and she knows for sure you're into her. She is the one in control now.

Next time a girl says 'it's not going to happen', immediately flip the script on her.

Spend some time with her. People often fall in love with things other than their first impressions. Then again, if there’s no chemistry for her, it may be something that is hard to replace.

So here is the thing with these kinds if scenarios - when we tell a guy "you arent my type" we are basically saying we like you but arent sure we like you, but could like you more, but our head says NOT to. Confusing...I know! Lol. But until we make up our mind, we have NO interest in having sex with you. Usually being that specific means she is serious! So you can possibly change her mind - if you do it right. BUT...dont beg, get pushy, or anything like that to try to change her mind. Because that is the quickest way to make us start avoiding you...because you wont take "no" for an answer. You can try to ask her out again down the line (after hanging out some more) and see what happens, but if she says no again - let it go! Stop asking.

I'm gonna go against the consensus here and say, this is not a blatant friendzoning. She basically agreed to a date.

Whether you can turn it romantic/sexual while you're on the "not a date" is up to you. Your frame (unspoken image of what is really happening) has to be:

"She's into me. She wants to take things slow and pretend she friendzoned me which is really cute. If I decide that I like her then she will react positively to my romantic/sexual vibe."

Needless (?) to say you have to be both a cool guy with her and observe the terms of the date (friendship) superficially, but be romatic/sexual in a very subtle and unspoken but definite way ... through body language and almost subliminal conversation, i.e.act like this is really the cool and fun start of a romance.
