Is approaching girls at the gym always off-limits, regardless of circumstances? I've heard conflicting ideas about this and wanted some clarification. Currently, my personal philosophy is that it's OK to approach a woman who isn't busy doing something at that moment, regardless of environment, so I wouldn't approach a girl who is actively using a machine or resting for a few seconds in between sets, but what about a girl chatting to her friends or taking a long water break? Is that also to be avoided? (If you've had success approaching women at the gym and you're naturally good-looking, keep in mind that I am not.)
