Recently I’ve been catching myself trying to shake hands with girls when I ask their name or tell them mine. Its not like a business handshake but its cordial. I find myself feeling really awkward about it after as though I’ve formalized the interaction too much. It’s not a lack of self confidence on my part, I cold approach somewhat freuqently however its something that just started happening a couple months back as a reflex of sorts.

How do you guys introuduce yourselves? I’m talking after initial contact when you ask her name? Would appreciate some tips on body language during the introduction. Thanks.
