Ever considered daygame?
[–]GoldenAxe_7t7 -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yes I’m ok doing that, but it’s very random .. I have to purposely drive to uptown and park my car there and walk around .. during the course of the day I rarely come across women I’m interested in .. sometimes in the elevator at work or shopping at a store and I do take shots here and there but mostly I’m not even warmed up and in my head.

Then you came to realize why most people like to live in big cities
[–]WIA20XX 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
You've painted yourself into a corner.
[–]GoldenAxe_7t7 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Ok what would you do differently if you were me ?
[–]WIA20XX 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I would move to the city and reverse commute. Most extreme would get you the best results
[–]GoldenAxe_7t7 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Have thought about it. I own a condo and my mortgage is only 800$ and rents in the city are like $1500 for 1br I do have an opportunity to work from the downturn office once a week, so I’m planning to explore that route.
[–]DrixlRey 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Lol, I disagree with the suggestion you should literally move and change jobs, come on. You sound like a hard working and efficient person, which is why you make good money. Now listen, think about the poor minimum wage guys getting all the cute girls. You have to sacrifice a bit. You said you know you need to go out more and get out your comfort zone, but you don't want to waste time. You're going to have to. You're going to have to fail when you get out there you can't be 100% efficient. Find the time, every minute you go out there you can both enjoy yourself and find someone at the same time. If you don't find anyone, you still enjoyed yourself, it's not a waste.

I agree dude, I’m ok setting some time apart every week to do stuff but I found that hanging at bars 20 miles away from home until 1 am is wearing me down ... I’m 42 but in good shape bit still not the youngest chicken out there ... the best and most target rich places in my city which is Charlotte is on downtown during lunch hour ..I’m just trying to optimize my free time / money to get the most ROI .., I mean I kind of know what to do I just wanted to post my story here and get feedback

Okay, a few things I personally do is Yoga, get to know people there, the instructor the regulars, the guys, at the same time it's really meditation for yourself too. Also people there are generally really fit as well, and half naked. But I've haven't been talking to a lot of girls at Yoga I didn't want to come off like I'm just there to pick up girls so I just work on my own body/meditation and I love it. Other things could be develop more friendships, invite co-workers etc who may invite other girls or outings. And if you're really in good shape, post some sexy pics on an some apps and swipe away, that would be your best ROI honestly, you're going to be taking minutes in a day for a chance to meet a stranger. Just some of my strategies.

Within your existing social and professional circles you can become a lot more sociable, charming and seductive. I did it without drastically changing my lifestyle, just by assiduously studying "game" (aka pickup or seduction) for a couple of years and working on improving myself. Across the gamut including clothes, grooming, fitness, inner game and confidence, body language, social skills such as conversation, and even sex skills. Read widely and work hard it will pay off.
[–]__Kevin__ 5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
Good luck with that.
Seriously, though, here’s my advice: Invest in a solid dating app profile. It’s 2020. That’s simply how it’s done these days. The ROI on a high quality profile is insane. If it was a stock, you’d be a fool not to invest in it. Hire a professional photographer with your baller ass income there, finance bro. Write all about your fancy car. Women really respect that.
(Do not be overt about your success. They should be able to infer that you’re successful. Lead with your qualities that high quality women actually find attractive, like your interesting hobbies, passion for whatever, etc.)
[–]GoldenAxe_7t7 -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
And basically compete with all the other dudes just based on photos? And besides higher quality women do not use apps usually and whoever uses apps are spoiled for choice, the 5s and 6s get hit up by 50 men on a daily basis.
I mean it works for photogenic dudes I’m sure but my forte is my personality and communication skills , etc ..
[–]eht_amgine_enihcam 6 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
"I'm buff and good looking".
"I'll get out competed by other dudes on a superficial app which literally lists your profession".
Nah man. Should be fine unless you're actually ugly. Make sure at least one of your pics has a shorter friend in it to show off the height as well.
[–]GoldenAxe_7t7 -2 points-1 points0 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Lol, I’m actually decent looking but photos /videos don’t do me justice ... I mean I’ve been told by many women that I was “cursed” as far as photogenicity but I’d rather be cursed like that than in real life
[–]eht_amgine_enihcam2 points 6 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I don't believe an objectively good looking person can be "unphotogenic". I reckon either your friends and family are real bad at taking photo's (and you can't pose for shit) or you're naturally charismatic and it makes you seem better looking than you are (+ stuff like height is more relevant in real life, which is why you take photo's with someone shorter than you if you're tall).
If it's case 1 hire a professional photographer if you're rich. I'm surprised you don't already have pro level picks for networking purposes.

You’re clearly committed to this narrative, so I won’t bother arguing with you.
Good luck.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
He’s right though. Highest quality girls don’t use dating apps to meet random guys. They meet people through their social circle.
[–]__Kevin__ -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
This might be a geographical effect. I can tell you that where I live, some gorgeous, amazing women meet men through dating apps. I’ve dated some of the most beautiful, intelligent, successful women ever through dating apps. The best thing is that I can tell right away if they’re worth my time. They’ll usually have their whole lives right there for you to dig through.
Also, this is passive income, and it’s not either/or. I day and night game very, very well, and use dating apps as an additional way to meet women. I only date the best ones off the apps.
Your mileage may vary based on location.
Something I want to stress is that you need to invest in your profile. If you’re genuinely a high value man, you should have lots of pictures of you doing high value stuff, and all of this should be organic because you’re awesome and this is just shit you do. Curate that shit and write a good bio.
Honestly, OLD is easy if you know what you’re doing and you’re a high value man. That’s why when I see someone screaming at the top of their virtual lungs that they’re high value and still unsuccessful at online dating, I’m skeptical as fuck.
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Problem is it takes a while to build a high value lifestyle.
[–]__Kevin__ 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
If it was easy then it wouldn’t be high value.
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
All I’m saying is while u are trying to become high value, you need some source of getting women. If you are working on yourself, and you don’t yet have the money and the car and the house, you need some other way to have success with women.
[–]__Kevin__ 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Dude, that stuff isn’t what makes you high value. Those things are artifacts of high value, but those things by themselves do not make a man high value.
Having a masculine purpose, and making that purpose the focal point of your life: high value.
Being confident, capable, knowledgeable, and wise: high value.
Being kind (but not “nice”), generous, sympathetic, and at ease with others: high value.
Being physically strong, having rigorously physical hobbies, and knowing how to take care of your body through proper nutrition and exercise: high value.
Being funny, charming, charismatic, and able to truly listen: high value.
Having material things by themselves won’t make you high value. That’s a myth that has been planted in your brain by corporations to get you to buy more crap, thinking that that stuff will finally get you girls. It won’t, and I can promise you that the girls that that stuff will attract aren’t really the kinds of women you want in your life.
To me, a high value woman is genuine, intelligent, clever, funny, kind, sweet, caring, and passionate. I’d rather be with a less than physically perfect girl that has these characteristics than a “10” without them, every time. I’ve dated models. Some of them are great, and when you have an extremely hot girl that has all of these desirable personality traits then that’s what I call girlfriend material, but it’s rare. Given the hypothetical exclusive choice between the really cool 8 and the less than cool 10, going with the 8 because with the lights out and her ass up, what’s the difference anyway? I’d rather have the one that’s fun after and I can crack jokes with.
This is all to say that if you believe your value as a man is contingent on the stuff you have, then you really, really, really do not understand women at all.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
.... right , but on tinder you can’t show your personality and character like that. All can show of us your body your clothes and your stuff and your hobbies. That’s why I’ve been saying that online dating is not as good for most guys.
[–]__Kevin__1 point 6 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Sure you can! It takes some creativity and engineering, but you can definitely allow those characteristics to come through on your profile if you work at it. Tinder is the most challenging of the dating platforms to make this happen because of the small bio size, but other apps give you plenty of opportunity to communicate those intangibles. Hinge, Coffee Meets Bagel, etc. are typically better for guys that have great non-physical characteristics.
The pictures you choose to put on your dating profile communicate so much about who you are. You should have pictures of yourself doing cool, interesting things. I would usually include pictures of me traveling, performing music, practicing martial arts and other sports, or being the focal point of a large social event. I own an expensive car, but I wouldn’t do something so crass as to just have a picture of my car on my profile. That’s actually pretty low value, because it communicates that I derive my sense of self worth from my material possessions and not my intrinsic, innate qualities.
I was in Japan a couple months ago, and did very well there, both in day game and dating apps, specifically Tinder. I barely speak Japanese, and rely on Google Translate to communicate anything beyond simple ideas. Japanese women have no idea about what things I own or what my finances are like. All they see is a confident, joyous, kind, amusing, playful, fun, masculine man that communicates high value through body language, eye contact, intonation, and generally being at ease with the world and my place in it. Those qualities can be communicated in dating apps through skillful use of pictures, carefully constructed bios, and well calibrated messaging.
It does take some time to learn how to be successful with dating apps. I was frustrated when I first started. There is a learning curve, and don’t be afraid to iterate you’re profile, sometimes dramatically. One picture can make a big difference. I wish the apps had the ability to do A/B testing. I would often conduct experiments where I would change the profile, see how my response rate would change, and then change it back or keep the change. Through iteration and experimentation, I eventually arrived at a picture set and bio language that really worked for me.

I’m actually planning to go recruit some solid guys who want to game ... I’ll see dudes hanging by themselves when I go out and that’s a good advice .. I’m introverted and am very impatient but I think I need to invest in broadening my social circle ...

As for the last one, it is an answered question. There have been many posts on physical limitations over the years, including this one. No need to re-ask it.

Hit on girls in traffic. Last gf was an NFL cheerleader who I met by just asking for her number when we were in traffic one day.
Last time I tried to do that almost caused an accident .. but it’s “cute”

Nba dancer and nfl cheerleader.

Haha I drive Bmw 330 cause I like it - I never really flaunt it but I do notice when women are noticing my car but I have never stopped my car to get out and say hello to a chick ... but I do live in a place where status means more than other places and although I’m not this douche guy who wants to show off things if it makes things easier for me why not ;)
