Firstly, remember they do it because they care even if they're cunts about it and to be honest if you can achieve it and you fucked around this semester then you should be giving yourself a hard time too.

When they give you shit you say "ok", "I understand", "I'm going to try harder" and you do it without getting angry or upset. Get a job over the summer or tell them you're doing work even if you aren't so you restrict their options to shout at you. You maintain your frame by looking and sounding responsible, less arguments because you agree with what they say and even if they don't let up on you they'll see how you're being responsible.

Because parents don't want to see their kids piss away an opportunity for a good life ESPECIALLY if they are footing the bill.

Swallowing the red pill means being the best YOU that you can be. Is 3.3 GPA the best you can be.

You're an adult. You need to own that shit. At the end of the day your grades are your own even if your parents give you shit about it.

Are you in college because you think that's what they want, or because you know that it's going to give you the opportunity to do something better with your life?

You are wasting your time with school

a) because it's teaching you irrelevant things

b) because it's teaching you outdated things

c) if you were good at what you are doing, you wouldn't need school, thus move to something you are good at and you won't need school

FWIW, I've been filthy rich and getting there, not one fucker asked me my GPA. ONCE, EVER. Biggest ripoff of time and money.

Part of growing up.

You CAN do better. It takes a couple of years of experience to see just how much time we fucking waste in college doing useless things. Your parents can't really communicate to you, just HOW you can do better.

Plus, you're in college. the world is disney land. You are surrounded by distractions.

Props on getting a 3.3. Make yourself better now, and in 5 years you'll be able to nail 18-22-year-olds without thinking. But you HAVE to MAKE yourself BETTER. NOW. And not fool yourself with excuses.
