Just the fact that you are trying to make a "clever come back" automatically makes you lose. The best defense is offense, but it doesn't mean that you should do the same thing as the other person and start insulting them, it would mean that you accepted their rules instead of setting your own. You can win any "verbal battle" by interpreting whatever the person says in a way convenient for you or just making it absurd. The key here is - never give excuses or explanations, make them do it instead, it doesn't matter how absurd the things you say either.

"Omg, you are so skinny!"

"Yeah, just as you like, right?"

"No, I love guys who are more muscular!"

"Cool, let's find you a nice anabolic boyfriend. How about that guy (you point at some overweight middle-aged uncle)? I think he is totally your type."

"No, he is not!"

"Don't be so shy. Do you want me to help you to conquer him?"

"You are such a jerk!"

"Yeah, just like your like, right?"

It's best not to get into an argument with random women dude. No matter how vicious and uncalled for she is, everyone will take her side because of political correctness.

If you're talking about shit test, then the best thing to do is to learn to recognize shit test so you can either pass them or side step them.

If she's just straight up being rude and insulting you, don't feed into it. That tells her she's got you by the balls. You can simply call her out on her impolite behavior and leave. She'll probably try to play it off cool in front of people but deep down everyone knows you basically just called her low value and rejected her because of her immature behavior. Or if she changes her vibe and apologizes, then maybe you'll want to keep talking with her.

Some women can take shit testing too far, and that's usually a bitchy and immature way of toying with you and rejecting you. But regardless of whether or not you stick around, just don't take shit from women and stay confident. If you're an athletic runner you probably have a better body than they do, and it makes women insecure when they know a man is more attractive than they think they are.

Don't get butthurt. Getting defensive is a guaranteed fail.

Handle it by agreeing and extrapolating it to a ridiculous level.

There is a 'tease' or straight up rude. Sounds like you are thinking about straight up rude someone with no interest. In that case, I probably just ignore it and eject from the set soon after. Who cares. There's no benefit getting into it with some random girl who isn't interested to make some political statement about double standards.

You can either call out her rudeness on the spot, which is probably not uncalled for to be honest. Or you can just ignore it and move on from her. She wouldn't talk like that to someone she had respect for.
