As scary as it may seem you gotta step over that hurdle and just talk to her. If you think there’s a league then you are already lowering your chances. Bring up a common topic or something you see that she’s interested in to start a convo. Before dating my bf he use to always think that he’d never had a chance with me. He always started a convo with me out of no where just because he wanted to speak to me and eventually we got closer.

There is no girls out of anyone’s leagues unless you choose to put them in that pedestal.

People who say someone is out of their league tend to be insecure and have an inferiority complex and that is exactly what turns off other people.

When you are talking with women you need to treat them as the very least as your equals, and that means don’t feed their ego telling them how pretty they are (they already know) and also act as if your interest is conditional to her, that is you are interested as long as she shows you certain traits or virtues that not every girl is capable of having and being willing to walk away if she doesn’t fulfil those criteria.

In order to find out if she has those traits, you need to talk to her, engage in an interaction, and find o it who she is as a person beyond her looks. In other words you must ignore her looks and look past them, you must act as if her looks aren’t worth anything at all.

Be a judge of her person, her attitude, her sense of humor or it’s absence, be a judge of her virtues, her character, her personality, her ambitions, her values, and believes,...

And show interest only when she has shown you something worthy of your interest, and letting her know just why she has earned your interest, and why not every girl could do it no matter how pretty. In other words make her feel like you are interested in her because you have found after meeting her that she is not like other girls, that she is special in your opinion.

The “league” dating theory is somewhat true but the competition pool is way smaller than most people think.

I.e. a girl could have 10 guys who are after her and if you don’t match up well against them she wouldn’t even entertain you.

There are plenty of attractive women who are too intimidating and not that sociable so they don’t have too many guys going after them.

Basically you’ll never know whether you have a chance until you try.

Put that out of your mind. If you think she is better than you, you’re gonna be a nervous wreck. Pump yourself up. Think about all of the positive things about yourself. She’d be lucky to get to know you. Go in with that attitude. Think that you’re doing her a favor. Be confident and polite. Direct eye contact and a nice smile.

Tbh, you don’t know if she’s out of your league until you try. You might think you are, but you could be exactly her type. The only way to know is to ask her out.

1) Don't put too much pressure on yourself, you're 16 and you still have your life ahead of you.

2) In order to get better at things: you need to fail. Whether it's working out, trying to get better grades in school, progressing in your career, starting new businesses, etc... Nobody gets it right the first time. How does the muscle grow when working out? You push it till you can't lift more weight at a workout. One thing that's held me back is I never want to fail with girls but when I realized that it's literally impossible to go 1000/1000, I changed my mindset. I realized that if I failed when trying to talk to a girl, I could internalize what went wrong and what went well and learn from that. So even if you fail with the girl and she doesn't like you, you will learn and get better.

3) Girls who are hot are put on a pedestal because people assume that they're perfect because they are beautiful. Don't assume that. Girls, just like guys, we all have our insecurities and our battles we're facing. We're all human. This is why leagues are really imaginary. Don't trap yourself thinking you can't reach high.

With all the 3 above, go for it man. Start a conversation with her, try to find common ground, get some practice in with talking to girls starting with her, and you'll get better at it. And if she doesn't like you? There's a whole world of other women.

It’ll be hard, but you gotta do it. Also a little info for you, girls at that age will likely be immature as will their friends and may make fun of you and spread rumours and shit. But don’t worry just keep at it and the practice will come in handy for later.
